All well and good saying that, but Kante turned us down so it's irrelevant.

How about Claudio Bravo?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
good shout, spending £15m odd to "upgrade" your keeper and then seeing some of his performances this season must grate.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What about that Karius guy for Liverpool? Never thought I'd see them clamouring for Mignolet back!
Most of West Ham's signings have been shocking, Nordtveit has looked an utter donkey though
I think Joe Allen should be in the notable mentions for best signing. He's been immense for Stoke, currently their top goal scorer with 4 (and 2 assists) in the league.
The way you're utilizing Pogba, you could've bought someone like Adrien Silva, and I kid you not you wouldn't have noticed much of a difference.

I would put Ibrahimovic in the top 5. 14 goals in 24 appearances with a few of them winners.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
hes a bit of a phenom, no way does he look or play his age either

But you don't know how we are utilising Pogba judging by your comments.
We didn't just buy him for this season anyway. It's a long term investment.

That could have been Drogba if malaria didn't hit him in 2010.

You won't find many united fans who thought pogba was worth £90m, i didn't, but i will say that you don't get too many chances to sign a player like that. if united hadn't stepped in this summer and waved silly money under juve's noses i imagine he'd have ended up at another big club.
and £90m or not, most united fans would rather have him in the team than not.
Stones by far the worst. You can get better defenders them him for free.

I get that. I'm not calling him a flop, I'm calling him a bad signings. I may be proven wrong in the future.
What category would Claudio Bravo fall into?
Juan Iturbe was a strange one. Did he ever actually play for Bournemouth.
Alex Pato - what was that all about?
Ahmed Musa has not lived up to his price tag.
Sunderland signing Djilobodji was a bad bit of business.
Alvaro Negredo has looked bad for Boro - although they have looked devoid of creativity.
Claudio Bravo has not at all worked so far.
Bournemouth getting Jack Wilshere on loan for a year is the best bit of business this year

Good shout
Don't think you'll see the best of Pogba until Jose sorts out that midfield. Herrera is decent but can be improved on and the wings are inconsistent at best. If United has more pace going forward Pogba would be freed up. I also think Jose leaving Ibra is going to cost United points. Rashford would be perfect to counter when sitting on a lead.
Good list by the way. Kante is doubt helped by the defensive unit around him but he offers quite a lot on the ball too. Top signing. And Mane is a beast, we get so much joy from that right side, AFCON is gonna hurt us.
*leaving Ibra on
Pogba but okay to good by the way. Forget the price, it's a long term investment.
Ilkay Gundogan a notable mention for best buys?
His season is predictably cut short with a long term injury after only a handful of appearances.
A risky buy, and that risk didn't pay off.
Mane is the best signing for me so far.
Worst is a tie between Pogba and Sissoko. Pogba for the ludicrous fee in correlation to his performances. Sissoko for the fee and the fact that he's got plenty of PL experience.... during which time he's been cack anyway.

Kante:
"Great player who is more than likely to end up with back to back premier league medals come the season close"
Has anyone else ever won the PL two years in a row with different clubs?!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes.
Mark Schwarzer for one.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Technically he didn't as he didn't appear for Chelsea. They did get him one.
Cantona did legitimately
Decent lists.
I'd say Baston should be in the top 5. A massive outlay for Swansea and so far no return whatsoever. They could well go down due to that wasted money if he doesn't start scoring goals.
West Ham's entire transfer window should be in there. None of their signings have done anything at all really.
I'd say Chadli for West Brom is in the good buys list. Had an injury recently but has given them some much needed quality in the final 3rd.
No way is there any tie that doesn't include John Stones.
