I was not even going near those tweets until it was made an issue, as this deflects from Islamist removing Christians from parts of the world and suppressing liberal tolerance and freedom.

I take it you agree Christian based nations are the most left wing liberal and progressive areas to live and therefore worth defending?

I’d expect to be called out if I started endorsing Imams who want Muslims to throw homosexuals off of buildings.

He calls these extremists, good people and brilliants minds, I absolutely have no regrets about calling him out. He makes me sick!

I'm not picking you as an enemy. In my last post to you on this thread 3-4 days ago I was criticising you on one aspect of your comments but also explicitly expressed my admiration for you for how you approach some topics on this site.

I know you're not a Trump supporter at all. I think you need to be more cognisant that you using him as some sort of counterweight to balance the "debate" against Obama or Hillary comments is a weak false equivalency.

Just because some politicians from both sides of the political spectrum say some things wrong does not make them equally bad.

If Obama says something wrong, by all means criticise him. I have. But criticise his actual words, not something he may have said years ago whilst not actually reading what he's being wrongly criticised in this latest instance. It's bizarre logic, or lack of.

Passing "casual remarks" about the death of hundred of folk to slag off about Obama is pretty sheite, mate.

You and I both have talked about and wholeheartedly agreed we all need more honesty and integrity in politics. You cannot say you weren't going near those tweets (of Obama's) when you immediately replied to Passion Power's partisan dig expressly at Obama.

I don't want to get into fights either, man. I just want to hold you to a higher standard than the likes of PP, Kami and TTliv, etc.

I was saying I heard Obama refer to Easter Worshippers and not just Christians, and he did not refer to Islamist attackers....he mocked white trash bible bashing gun routers too, and I did see that reference before.

How Obama and Hilary called the mosque NZ attack was direct....white racist kills Muslims.

The Sri Lanka condemnation was more generalized, but why?

Trump said the far right and antifa had some good people after Charlottesville, so we know how these political leaders send out messages.

I am not putting Obama and Trump together, but rather showing words from both are treated differently according to our bias.

If you look at the post you reported I said leaders, not Obama or Hilary, and I stand by this.Politicsl and religious leaders globally let Christians down and ate perhaps across of being called right wing bigots and tscidy if they say extremist muslim groups kill and oppress Christians.

However, leaders have no problem saying white racist kills minority black or muslim victims..

I am not falling out with you, but as we hold different views; it seems you now feel obliged to counter most so called conservative or right wing views here, because your left leaning analysis is correct...end of debate.

Do not fall into this left wing modern mindset whereby All other opinion is lesser, weaker or stupid.

Him bringing up some YouTube idiots on the odd occasion is something that I DO NOT endorse whatsoever. I think some of them and people who parrot some of their hate-filth should not be ignored at all.

However, he's often repeatedly said or agreed with very anti-racist sentiments and comments on this site.

I'm part of a mixed race relationship and I went on a bit of rant about race a few weeks back/monthish and Robb was one of the first people to reply. He was so firmly in agreement about anti-racism and pro-tolerance and inclusivity that he said my post was one of the best comments he'd ever read on this site ever.

He says some daft sheite at times, we all do - myself included - but branding him as you did because of some buffoon on YouTube when that is not all he is as a person is just not fair.

You've been called all sorts of bullsheite in the past when there were a spate of Islam-inspired (wrongly, according to you) terrorist attacks. I've defended you frequently in those time as I know you're not some terrorist sympathiser, despite how many others used to interpret your words. You clearly abhor those acts.

I think you're right to question some of Robb's (or anyone's sources), but wrong to go as far as you did in this specific instance. I've said before and I'll say again, you're an intelligent and thoughtful person. You've taught me a lot on this and other threads over the years and I admire you because of it. You're usually much better than stooping to calling Robb a racist when you literally cannot back it up with his words and his words on these topics are often very anti-racist.

I also have a different experience with him, on one hand he says “I don’t blame all Muslims” and then on another you seem him create article straight after a terrorist attack to spam his opinions about Islam in much the same way Trump does. They are fully thought out smear campaigns and if anybody tries to correct him they are called terrorist sympathisers.

I am not getting into the stuff I used to here and did not intend discussing the whole tweet saga.

Like kfc, for being muslim, I get it tight off folk for saying I believe in God, voted dup and brexit and so on....I can take it and give it back and all of the above deserve parody and scrutiny.

However, as hinted I am really trying to avoid 24/ 7 news and politics and brexit and Trump and terror and so kinda regret even mentioning Sri Lanka as it always goes the same way after terrorism.

In the past I felt Rangers fc and fsbsxerre getting bad PR and so I came on BBC 606.

Then, loyalists or conservative populists, libertarians, Christians or brexit were being demonized, so I gave my analysis.
With my own bias of course... but often I was some dup or brexit or Christian poster on threads.

I have done my bit, for 40 odd years, and social media is not cry social at times, so I am stepping back even more.

As said elsewhere, not sure I can vote for anyone again and the planet needs saving from humans.

And if I am here it is football, music or chat in the main from now on.
