What is clear to me is that there isn't sufficient evidence to charge him with anything thus the pandering off to the Congress to let them decide the next course of action. I believe Nancy Pelosi is feeling the same way too which is why she's so hesitant on pulling the trigger on someone who is supposed guilty as day.
The left needs to let this go and prep for 2020. That's their best chance of ousting Trump out. Even if they oust him out now, do we really want Mike Pence to run the show? He's far more right leaning than your normal Republicans.

Ignoring the media crap he's almost been good. Some are just desperate to get him on everything which often ignores the mistakes he does make. His policies are getting through slowly which is why he was voted in, slowly and quietly but they are, dems will need someone good to beat him at this rate.

Impeachment itself is irrelevant.
It's the process to decide whether to impeach or not that is important. Show the voters how personally corrupt he is.
If they start it and it fails its a win for trump that he can use on his campaign trail easily.
