'What are the honest assessments on Warburton and the opinions on moving forward (from Rangers fans)?'

Can we really not comment?

If we are kind?

The rest of it is forgivable but his patter is rank.

You Rangers fans must get sick of Celtic fans constantly having a go at Rangers.

Aye especially because we would never do the same

I have been critical of Warburton lately due to his complete disregard for the notion of possibly going for a bit more of a defensvie approach in tough away games like the on at Tynecastle this week.

Having said that though, I dont quite understand this statement

"second place is a must"

Why is second place a must??

The target for this season is second yes, and while it will be dissappointing if we dont finsh second, we still get into Europe if we finish 3rd and the difference in prize money will be minimal.

Why is 2nd an absolute must...is it the embarrassment of it or what??

Second place is a must because we have by far and away the second biggest budget.

To be fair when you get pumped 4-1 by a ridiculous poor Hearts side then it will reach those sort of levels mate

Give Hearts and Cathro credit they were on it even if they hadn't been they would have come away with 3 points.

The only positive from it is there can now be noway back for Kiernan long term. Diabolical defender that has cost us time an time again, there is nowhere to hide for him.

Question.

If Keirnan and Halliday start tomorrow, do you think that will be the final straw for a lot of fans?

Yeah it's certainly a massive game now. I expect you to win but County have drawn twice with you so far so you never know.

I will be straight to the Erskine bridge if a manager picks 2 players who I disagree with being in the team

That said Halliday can stay and unless Wilson is fit big Rob will be in the team

Smid - Fair enough.

I see no disagreement about his tragic patter so I commend you on at least recognising that

I see where you are coming from with the signings but he knew what he was getting into signing Barton so that his on his head.
Knowing what you need and getting it are very different, so for me it matters not a jot if he knew what we needed but got it wrong as the outcome is the same.

Tactically we are set up as an attacking team but don't score enough and are sorely one dimensional, for me a pragmatic approach would be better, I would rather win the league in Tony Pulis style than finish a distant 2nd or 3rd Warburton style.

I feel the summer is a natural parting point for manager and club. Hopefully with a new appointment signed up and doing the important work behind the scenes long before.

Being serious for a moment i think its time the bbc ban ended - i think warburton would be given a bit longer and a larger platform to actually explain stuff - right just now its soundbites because thats all the tabloids and bt/sky are interested.

feel a bit sorry for him in a way

managing rangers must be DEAD annoying

Looks like missed the defence of his patter.

There's no passion in the interviews, nothing new ever the old lines rolled out again and again. I could deal with Walter because at least on the pitch it was usually all going well

without the bbc nicky i dont think he has a credible platform to explain or defend or even be passionate

Nah. We simply don't have the options to replace with other players. Kiernan has some good games and some real howlers, as does Halliday.

I do really get the point about the team from last year, as it looked settled, and since the SC semi we've been weirdly out of synch as a team, and no one can put their finger on the reason as to why.

Kiernan and Haliday will be in the team no doubts about it.

Haliday i have sympathy for always does his best but is playing in a position that is unnatural for him.

Kiernan i wouldn't let play again. Give a youth team CB a chance, they cannot be worse.
