Need to see how AJ does vs Wlad first, he's not really been tested either since Haye came back on the scene.
Would fancy Haye to beat Whyte in a similar manner to how AJ did.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
VK and Haye are two very different fighters but I do take your point re AJ not being really tested.
Haye Whyte could be a good fight, the build up would be good
The Guvnor
Who you fancy for Garcia Thruman?
This Haye in Miami story has been over hyped and blown out of proportion.
------------------------------------------
Exactly. Haye's already said he feels better both mentally and physically in warmer climates and trains better. Everyone's different.
Come fight night I'm quite sure that Bellew will wish that Haye had trained in Rotherham.

Still undecided to be honest but I will be doing a fight thread tonight and I'll have my final prediction on there.
It's as close to a 50/50 fight you can get however
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah agree very hard to call, fancy it to be a very good fight, I really like Garcia but his Da's awful annoying

Nicely balanced boxing weekend for fans to digest:
Haye vs Bellew=Chicken nuggets
Thurman vs Garcia=Steak and Caviar
----------------------------------------------------------------------
very good description, Haye Bellew is what it is, I'm very excited about it but in terms of the better fight Garcia Thruman all day.
Did you hear Paulie Mallinaggi on Sky Sports News yesterday? He was asked about Kahn Paquiao and fecking Mayweather McGregor and rightly (IMO) said the fight the UK public need to be excited about is Brook v spence Jnr, it's criminal how unknown Brook is outside of the core boxing fans, you ask 100 people in the street who Kell Brook is and 99% won't know, but about 50% woudl know who Amir Kahn is for example.
From the press conference;
The boxers are asked for predictions ahead of their heavyweight bout on Saturday.
David Haye: My gut instinct is I hit him with a vicious barrage of punches. The first one stuns him and the next three or four finish him off. He will get knocked out really quick. My prediction is a spectacular showreel knockout.
Tony Bellew: Just a win. I think we'll get a good hard fight for four or five, maybe six rounds. May the best man win.
So has Bellew stopped calling Haye Sponge Bob Square Pants then ?

People said the same about Whyte vs Chisora and we all know what happened there.
Nobody is touting this as some amazing spectacle but if you like boxing then this fight should be harmless fun. You can still be a healthy eater and have a cheat meal every now and then.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
it is being ''touted'' though. people genuinely excited and buying into the hype
It's being overhyped, but there are still reasons to watch it.
Haye is still a big name, and it's interesting as to how he does for the first time in his comeback against someone who isn't a bum.
TB looks like a bouncer, but despite the physique he's got great stanima and can do it for 12 hard rounds, his best hope is dragging Haye into the later rounds, be interesting to see how TB approaches the opening rounds.
The build up suggests he will go toe to toe but TB isn't stupid and knows Haye has the power to KO him if he lands the right hand. Also TB has previosuly talked one way and come fight night use a totally different game plan, think the same will happen on Sat.
The first exchanges will be very interesting!
