Eddie Hearns PR have done great a job if people are excited by this fight tbh

People said the same about Whyte vs Chisora and we all know what happened there.

Nobody is touting this as some amazing spectacle but if you like boxing then this fight should be harmless fun. You can still be a healthy eater and have a cheat meal every now and then.

I don't know how anyone thought the Whyte vs Chisora fight was going to be anything but a brilliant tear up. Many people thought it was going to be boring before the fight. It was obviously going to be brilliant viewing.

Shock horror he got beat on points by the most dominant heavyweight we've seen in world boxing since Lewis.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
he talked so much trash (yes it's part of the game) but he went so far then spent the fight on his knees and then even worse took out his toe, VK referring to it as a bee sting was

Great curiserweight 10 years ago no doubt, never been a proper heavyweight, ghas fought trash since Klit but claims he's this and that.

He's been in Miami without McGuigan for months, what kind of a camp is that without his coach?

Still fancy Haye to win as he's the heavier man, but they're both 6'3 and Bellew can punch, also Bellew is a proven 12 round fighter, I don't think Haye has more then 6 in him, he will struggle if it goes into the second half of the fight.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

To be honest I doubt that Haye will come in much heavier than Bellew anyway. Reckon Bellew will be about 210lb and I don't envisage Haye being anymore than 220lb. Don't be deceived by the physiques, Haye isn't some hulking yet dehydrated Adonis while Bellew isn't some fat lump.

Weigh in over;

Bellew
15 stone 3 pounds

Haye
16 stone 9 pounds

Haye looks fackin shredded too.

Bellew was trying to get another rise out of Haye but he seemed to keep his cool pretty well today.

Big weight advantage though

16st 9 ounces not pounds.

11lb difference which is roughly what I expected. Haye drinking all that water to fill himself up

I want the fat scouser to win. In fact I want everyone and anyone to batter Haye, send him back to fighting Personal Trainers in some school gymnasium on Dave

Tbh I don't there's any chance that his goes to twelve rounds. Will be happy to be proved wrong though. Can only see that happening if Bellew deploys some kind of run and hide tactic to try to frustrate and tire Haye hoping to take him into the later rounds.

Yeah Bellew will definitely be going in their with a plan that doesn't involve getting his head caved in. I'm assuming he's going to try to neutralise Haye somehow in the early rounds as he keeps insinuating that Haye hasn't trained for 12 rounds and won't last the distance if it goes that way.

Whether Bellew tries to run and spoil for the opening rounds remains to be seen. Wouldn't be totally surprised if he did as he's saying he's going to try to win by any means possible.

He can try to run, doesn't mean it'll work against the quicker and more mobile fighter in Haye.

I suspect that Bellew will try to spoil somehow more than run.

This is Bellew's problem, he's not better than Haye in any single department apart from maybe heart. It's a total mismatch, something that Hearn seems to be specialising in these days.

Brook nearly got blinded against GGG, just hope that nobody gets hurt in this fight as it has the makings of it I fear. Hope I'm wrong.
