The stats in the article appear to be wrong.

Does the author list where his stats come from?

Darren you underrate Kante on the ball

He has a bit of a burst to escape pressure, he's not some stiff workhorse

posted on 3/3/17

Nah he's poor on the ball.

Athletic donkey versus decent but no more midfielder.
Tough but Kante would stop a lot more attacks.
Southampton walked through United continually, that would not happen with Kante.

Kante a donkey? I must remember to disregard your views in future.

It's a stereotype that he's poor on the ball

He's not a chance creator or anything like that but he can often keep the ball in tight situations

It's not a stereotype, I've seen it with my eyes.

His passing, touch and close control isn't any good. He's good at evading challenges with his burst of pace and strength, but lacks any technical ability, like Ramires.

Not that it matters too much when he is just in the side to win the ball and make simple passes to better footballers.

Your wrong Zlatan. I've seen with my eyes that he is always tidy and often more than that. I think you will find that the players will vote for him as the best in the league.

He's aware of his limitations, don't know why people take such offence to people pointing them out.

And him being voted player of the year, if he is, doesn't mean he's good on the ball.

Not taking offence, just disagreeing and pointing out your wrong. When did he indicate he was aware of his limitations.

It's a figure of speech. He didn't say it, it's just obvious watching him play as he plays without risk. You massively overrate Kante so I'm not expecting you to take any criticism of him, though.

Maka was a much better passer

But kante has a better shot and can get the simple passes off easy enough

Mikel had more natural skill but was far less effective. Like its a joke even comparing them

Mikel was such a pointless player. Incredible he played for Chelsea for so long.

He is decent on the ball to be fair. Doesn't take many risks but does keep the ball well in tight spaces
