Was underwhelmed when he was appointed and remain so. Im sceptical as to whether a replacement would fare any better, our problems seem to lie deeper, but long term whatever league we're in next season, Lambert's not the man to take us forward.
Happy with a point • In the second half we were the better side • First half we were comfortable • Really good claim for a penalty • Had a decent amount of the ball • Were the more likely team to score • Hit the bar with Ben Marshall, who is getting better every game • We played well, second half • Don't look like a team that's down there • Look as if we've got a threat every time we go forward • Got down the sides and got plenty of joy into the box • Andreas Weimann was fantastic • The front three were very good.
Overall, Lambert says "I was happy".

Bute it was bloody awful, Ipswich were the worst team I've seen this season and the game was there for the taking but as usual our inability to score was our downfall.
If Lambert was happy he should ask the fans who were there if they were happy. It was dreadful especially the first half with hoof ball tactics,we seem to be getting worse.
God help us Saturday if we lose.
He's not a keeper. I am totally bemused by his team selections. Saturday's second half performance was good and we outplayed a top six team. Iorfa came back into the team and looked to have regained confidence, Dicko ran his socks off and set up the goal. On the basis of the performance there was no apparent reason to change the team against weaker opposition. So what does he do?
Now do I think he should be playing Saville at Left Back? Of course not. But that of course is a hang-over from Saturday's equally surprising changes. Confused? I certainly am.
Too many changes and for the life of me I can't believe that the dressing room is as loyal as Dangerous Dave would have us believe given the total unpredictability of selection. I play well, I get dropped - doesn't make for great motivation does it?
Bring in Rowett.

Rowett has gone to Rangers.
Keep, but only just but if we don't win Saturday he has to go as his choices are borderline desperate as it is.
Loves saville and coady for some reason, neither should be anywhere near the starting eleven but yet both have started in various positions alarmingly.
Finally gets it right with price and Saiss and no surprise we controlled the game, but will we see that Saturday? I wouldn't bank on it.

That's news to us up here. Caixinha is expected, although Wilson from Southampton has declined the DOF role.
Mind you, we could lose Doris the Tea Lady to Rangers seeing as she equalled Siggy's total goal haul last season.
He's had talks with rangers but no deal yet.
This article is complete rubbish by the way. Wolves played well second half and deserved at least a draw against a team unbeaten in 6 games
I notice there is an article on the Molly Minx forum that gives the same opposite view. Just goes to show.
Every person I've spoken to that was there, even Ipswich fans all said the same.
It was dire and with a more positive outlook from the manager would have seen us come away with 3 points not 1.

I am glad that I applied "Tatters Law" to the appointment of Paul Lambert.
Basically, Tatters Law states that if you start off with a view that the new manager is certain to fail then you wont be disappointed when he does fail.
Every new manager we have is lauded as the next Alex Ferguson but soon becomes apparent that he is more like the next Barry Fry.

We should have won the game and would have if Lambert had not been afraid to lose.
Also I would add that we were better than Ipswich but we need to understand that Ipswich are and were terrible and their fans felt we were the worst team they had seen at Portman road this season but that this was probably their worst performance also.
I'm sure PL picked the team with a view of not losing. That in itself is very worrying and here we have two posters who went to the game, who obviously have very opposing views on the match.
I tend to listen and watch Tim Spiers and Nathan in their post match discussions. They seem to tell it as it is and by all accounts the first half was dire to say the least. Hoofball which Tim says gives you neck ache. However they do say that we improved in the second half and were unlucky to have hit the bar and post in the last five minutes.
If we cannot beat Rotherham on Saturday, then it's curtains for us and heads must roll.

Perton - try putting on a sensible hat for once
Wolves had 57% possession, had 10 shots to Ipswich's 3 and we hit the woodwork twice.
So please explain to me why you think me saying we deserved at least a draw is rubbish
I think he means that we should have won not drawn but it isn't clear.

Regarding the "Mick give us a wave" chants, did he wave back to you all?
I don't believe he did, he was too busy getting angry with his own booing fans i think.
Ungrateful rabble. He rescued them from imminent relegation, and now they expect to be serious promotion contenders whilst depending on beg steal & borrows. He came to Wolves and right away stated that his initials MM didn't stand for Merlin the Magician. However, he was certainly a magician for our fortunes, and Ipswich fans should look at how bleak their outlook would be no had he not been called in to rescue them.
Terrible isn't it, not being able to be considered serious contenders but yet finishing 6th and 7th, almost seems like they were serious contenders, well, until this season.
But in fairness i think they are more fed up with watching the worst football ever seen at Portman Road, it slowly eats away at them i suspect, as it does all fans when the football is terrible.
Evans the Ipswich owner had some interesting things to say not long ago, granted it makes a mockery of the 'poor' Ipswich stance, but ah well.
''My annual investment enables the Club, over the last few seasons, to pay wages for the core of our squad at the higher end of the Championship, when you take in the parachute factor. This ensures we keep those players who we feel can contribute most to our success.
It also enables us to attract experienced players ahead of many of our competitors as well as bring in important loan players from Premier League clubs''.
Fascinating, especially the bit saying it enabled them to beat of many competitors for players, someone here stated this quite often, turns out he was RAA
I think all club benefactors do what they can help. Nothing surprising in what you've posted.
Yes. Ipswich fans can be densnding success, (like us), but they don't apreciate the limitations they are under. Some fans are deluded.
That doesn't apply to us as the investment made by Fosun gave us all reason to believe we were on the way to better things.
