Sturgeon has said hundreds of times ‘Scotland voted Remain’.
Haven’t heard her once say ‘Scotland voted NO’.
Pointy.
By nothing clearly I meant continuation - status quo.

Miller.
Almost 4 in 10 of Scots voted to leave Europe.
A minority but a sizeable one.
Which surprised and quite frankly disgusted me.
I wasn't among them.
But the impression is around that just about all Scots were Remain.
They weren't.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Of the 38% on leave the Eu, I'll bet some also voted yes in independence referendum. Each person will have their own reasons for both votes. They were fairly different questions. I can easily understand why a fisherman might believe in Scotland being better off independent and outside the Eu for example.

If you go by that then there's a fairly straightforward case for another vote in my opinion Quinn. It's not the status quo of pre 2014 at all now.
Miller I’m talking about Salmond / Sturgeon’s chicanery.
Obviously it’s another ballpark now.
Pointy.
I can feel it in my water.
At this siècle the rise of populism and nationalism is scary.
In my 7th decade and never seen it before.
All these fvkin problems - one simple answer.
Leave. Indy. Brexit. Trump.
Piish.
The global corps have us all by the curlies now.
And are scoffing at us all.
One of the ‘Promises’ in the much derided NO campaign was that
Scottish govts could raise taxes for purely Scottish purposes.
This promise was granted immediately.
The SNP have chosen not to use this.
Anybody would think they were Tories.
And all we hear about is 'broken promises'.

Who?.....rangers supporters?
Ruth Davidson is probably the best politician up here on pro union side. She in my opinion generally makes fairly concise and cutting remarks about pro-independence and Sturgeon. Like running off a bunch of instances where the snp government ignored holyrood and then asked why the UK government should pay any attention to the Scottish parliament when the Scottish government ignores it when it sees fit.
But politicians will always have broken promises. Snp, labour, Tory or Alcoholics and Publicans Alliance party or whatever. Promises will be broken all over.
Magnum was gonna put in a Dave King reference earlier.
Along the lines of ‘No Ref for 25 years’ ‘Ref in 6 minutes’.
Then I thought I'm hated enough for my doubts about the SNP on here
as it is.
Sadly I have to head now tho I know I'll be missed.
Night Quinny. I don't much like Tories either...whether in disguise or otherwise.

The EU is a failing institution and trying to keep all these countries under a single currency simply hasn't worked. Just look at the the likes of Greece, Spain and Portugal who's economies are still in the toilet.
The UK has to constantly keep pumping billions into the EU every year and without that constant stream of our money to help keep it afloat it's only a matter of time before it collapses.
No way can the EU survive long term without the UK and it's only a matter of time before other countries call for their own Referendum to leave the EU.

And don't forget that Spain would have collapsed already if if wasn't for the full English breakfasts and pints of WAtneys Red Barrell purchased every year by the civilising British visitors.
