Is it true Roy Keane was trying to get into the Welsh sides dressing room after the match had finished?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Highly unlikely and not reported over here, I know Taylor went to the Irish dressing room after the game to apologise but Coleman was gone to the hospital at that point.
Obviously terrible to see this happen to our captain but feel Taylor Is being over vilified this happens in football
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It could have happened in training with ROI or Everton.
Blaming Taylor won't change what happened or stop it happening again.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Exactly this will happen again

At his age I can't see him coming back from that and replicating his form. That sort of tackle will damage him mentally. Look at Shaw as an example. Hope he gets well soon, just a terrible thing to happen.

Barkley can back from double leg break, it all depends on how mentally strong you are.

He's always been hindered by his price tag
That's why he never got the move to a big club. Price tag held him back
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't remember a team ever making an offer for Coleman, it was all press speculation.

He can come back strongly. He had to work hard to get where he is and I imagine it took a lot of mental strength to go from LOI to PL and do so through an unconventional route. But right now, it's just a case of hoping he has a successesful operation, is able to walk properly again and then can rehabilitate.

Has Roy Keane said anything about the tackle yet?
-------------------------------------------------------------
Keane said he would have been proud of it.
He said Coleman was milking it a bit, and that in 1993 he played with two broken legs and a cracked skull and players these days need to Man up.
Taylor for his sake atleast got some sort of acceptance of an apology from Keane as he walked off. Don't think Keane is gna criticise him too much after that.
Be warned that if you see the givemesport link about Joe Ledley laughing at Coleman as he lay stricken, there is a new virus on the page. I've got Norton as cost is not an issue and every report I read said they are the fastest to react to protect from new viruses and it says this one is brand new.
Saw the pictures, his leg is dangling, snapped off completely. But there's no look of pain on his face. Very surreal to see. Horrific injury. Wales Press defending Taylor
Shouldn't be a 10 game ban at all. As somebody has said, the challenge was no different to any other leg breaking challenges, just Coleman got the worst of it here obviously. Very poor tackle though.
Players like Ramsey broke their legs and came back better after in time, as did Barkley and I'm sure that the likes of Shaw and Coleman will do the same.

I thought Keane played with 3 broken legs, 2 of his own and one he snapped off an opponent and kept it dow his sock.
Stuart Pearce tried to run a broken anckle off
City had a keeper (Trottman???) who played on in a cup final with a broken neck, back in the days before subs were allowed. More recently, i think Dion Dublin tried to do something similar but i think he was eventually subbed off
I once played football with a broken heart.

Cheers LQ. Knew it didn't look right as i typed it
