Alexis Sánchez to Chilean newspaper @PublimetroChile within the last hour:
"I'm happy in London and I hope to finish my contract there."
"I'd like to stay in the city and at a team, but at a team that is a 'winner' - that has a winning mentality."
"I'm 28 years old, I still have a lot to go. I am a player that takes great care of myself."
some fresh quotes from Alexis in the last hour, bit of cryptic messaging.

Welcome to Chelsea Sanchez
It all boils down to whether Pedro would wish to go to Arsenal.
THink Sanchez leaving is prtty much nailed on now, swap deals are quite complicted. Take the money and see you you could get.

The beginnings of the meltdown.
They are reporting the same story as well

It'd be hilarious if it happens
Bloody ell, might as well said straight up he wants to sign for Chelsea.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Might be West Ham?
He wants to team up with Eden Hazard
Hazard/Pedro on one side and Sanches/Willian on the other side, Costa upfront that is frightening
Hope the morons running the club show some balls for once and say "you either go abroad or you stay for your last year". We don't owe this guy a "gentleman's agreement".
Hate these cryptic messages, just say what you're thinking ffs.
Seriously, Jose better be sniffing around this guy as well. We badly need a right winger.
He said that he will be happy to see his contract out, One year is not that long. But that could cost Arsenal £40m + and his salary of £130k per week and possibly underperforming.
I wouldn't mind selling to Utd as much, reckon we could get £80m from them.
He also said that he is settled in London
The Arsenal fans are on the verge of rioting as it is right now. I can't imagine they would shįt on their fans twice by extending Wenger's contract and selling their best player to a hated rival in the same summer. Plus Özil's future is still undecided. There would be violent mobs outside the Emirates!
If we did by some miracle pull it off we'd pįss the league again. Honestly, if any of Chelsea/City/United were able to snatch Alexis from Arsenal they'd be heavy, heavy favorites.

And we owe him nothing.

Not, but he'd be happy to see his contract out.
Arsenal could potentially lose on £40m pluss his wages and an unhappy player

Would it top the RVP meltdown? Or the Chelsea signing Cesc meltdown? They're the best two.

Ashley Cole transfer to Chelsea was the best
Oh but how hilarious would it be, and how much would we all love to see it happen? The Arsenal fans would all be waving their laptop bags around in protest before the game, things would probably get so raucous that one or two of them might accidentally spill their free range fair trade gluten free soya and nutmeg frappuccinos.
---------------------------
More like pathetic, where can I get one of those laptop bags, would love to join the fun.
Sanchez to Chelsea would top RVP to Utd I think. Definitely if Wenger signs a new contract.
Arsenal and Chelsea aren't historical rivals tbh, and they're not rivals for the title race either.
