Why Walcott
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Welbeck is going to provide giroud's running for him.
We have 2 CM's on yellow cards. Why take Theo off?
I think Wenger has gone for height

I want to get away from the french theme. But if wenger is dof I doubt blanc will want it. And the french aren't know for their organisation.
The key to everything is wenger at dof.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why though? I want a great coach with a winning mentality; Blanc has pretty much done nothing but win in his time as both player and manager. His nationality is immaterial, especially given the traits he brings to his coaching and the style in which he does it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
more abt his style and the style of league he works in.
Most of the managers in the prem these days are very organisational/positional oriented rather than fluidity that the french focus on. fluidity works very well with athletic players and while we used to have that in teh past we don't now.
This team is crying out for some positional coaching.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Did you watch Blanc's Bordeaux? Or Blanc's France? Or Blanc's PSG? That's exactly what all of his teams were! He played Veratti in a midfield with Thiago Motta and Blaise Matuidi doing his leg work as he dictated. That's the Laurent Blanc Mantra and exactly why we should be looking to bring him in. He was able to combine solidity and organisation at PSG once he was able to work with more creatively laden players, something, with the backing of the board, I'm convinced he could easily do at Arsenal.
The guy was a world class defender; his default is organisation and discipline.

Giroud takes too long to get into the position for a cross. Earlier the cross the better it is but it needs a striker like Luakaku to get in there fast

Laurent Blanc is by far and away the best fit for Arsenal out of any of the names I've seen suggested.
