In response to what you're saying about Blanc, what more could he have done really? Ancelotti didn't pull up any trees either. Emery is struggling. Blanc did two doubles and a treble in his time there and made them a relevant European name. He also won the league with Bordeaux before arriving at PSG; this with Chamackh as leading his line! He then went on to France and lost two quarter finals to teams that went on to win the tournaments. Also, he's bloody available!

I am serious about the French league. Had Blanc been coaching in Spain or Italy where positional sense is very important I would look at him in a different way. I honestly think Blanc could be Wenger m2 in terms of style.

Though I am more worried about the setup at the moment. For me the first part of the equation is Wenger as Sporting director. At that point I am far more comfortable with who ever.

I look at the team and what it needs. Thats why I thought from the very beginning that Zidane would well at Madrid.

I think we have very good players apart from a couple around 30. And we just someone who can organise this team on positional sense rather than fluidity now because we just don't have the athletes who can bring the ball from back to front with pace and defend the counter.
