My fault bro. I posted on the wrong thread.
Bennett not Bent. Morning' all and Happy Easter.
Rowett could pick himself to play today and I will be happy. For me Rowett is the best judge of the team and I will go with who ever he picks. The same goes in the summer. I will be happy with whoever he sells and buys. He's got my full backing
Yes Griff, Rowett should use the last few games with next season in view. But I was responding to Backo who wrote that he thinks GR should not play Bent given Nugent is not fit. I agree with Backo and I think Bennett would be worth a run out.
I'd rather play with 10 men than have Bent. At least he wouldn't be offside.

Bucko says a lot of them live around Duffield because they can't afford to live where we do

Speaking of Bucko........
Id rather see Vydra play than Bennett. I don't see a future at Derby for either Bennett or Bent. Bennett has never taken his chance when he's played. If hes still here next season I think a 3 month loan would do him good. Maybe signing camara has sowed his development around the 1st team

I thought the same about his offside. When he came on as sub Friday I said to my lad a wonder how long it would be until he's offside. Tbf it took him 22mins and Russell had been could offside cheaply a few times before that.

Mate I cycled up past your house on Saturday morning. I was struggling when I got to the top. I was going to knock on your door for a cuppa.
Griff, you would be most welcome. Next time please come in. We could offer something a bit stronger and my missus makes great coffee.
Are you going to the match today? If it is just you we could offer a lift.
Cheers mate I'm going on the train with my lad. We had a long day on Friday going to Brentford. We got the 7.52am train from the village and didn't get back to nearly 11pm and all to see that performance.
I wasn't sure which is your house. I know where Mr Street lives
Pointless picking Bent today as he wont be offered a new contract. Just give some youngsters a run out. We have nothing to lose.
Noticeable that the improvemnet at Udders and Leeds is in no small part down to loan signings. We on the other hand signed James Wilson who was not much better than our academy players. As we are a touch strapped for cash using FFP guidelines I hope Rowett can use the loan market better than Pearson.
Don't forget De Sart
Is S. Mac's son still our chief scout, I heard a suggestion we were keeping him?
Griff, I'm in the one just below where John Street used to live. Just between two bungalows with caravans parked.
Yes that is a long day. I often think of our visitors fans going back a long way after a defeat. QPR for example.

He is Baz, Rowett has kept him on
Hasn't Rowett got any realtives to put on the pay roll then?
I think GR has to take this opportunity to have a look at others in the side. Defence is picking itself do to lack of options but changes can be made in midfield and upfront. I do feel a mass clear out coming in the summer. Chatting to my Dad this morning about it, we could easily rack up around £25m from sales in the summer and I wouldn't batter an eyelid.
Problem for GR this summer is the players have time left on their contracts and if they don't want to move we are stuck with them. Shackell will be happy picking up his £30k a week for another year without kicking a ball. I believe Bent has played enough games now this season to trigger another year to his contract. Anya, camara, Vydra and Blackman have I believe 3 years remaining on their deals so unless another club comes in for them and pays higher wages than Derby then we are stuck with them.
I've given my ticket to the eldest today and couldn't be bothered buying another. Think I'll be watching in the pub.
Bent hasn't got an automatic extension from what I've gathered, Derby have an option of a years extension meaning he can't negotiate with other clubs during his last 6 months.
Still think we will see more from Vydra but the rest you mention and others can go. But as you say, if they don't want to go then what can we do.
The £25m in sales I was talking about would be Martin, Ince, Hughes, Weimann and possibly Keogh. I can't see us keeping hold of all of them and to be honest not sure if I care.
So you want us to get rid of our best players then Tommo. A sure fire recipe for success. Ask our near neighbours how well it works.
Well I for one would like to keep Martin and Hughes. It's all very well saying we must buy a lot of new players but how do we know they will be any better than what we've already got?
I'm trying to think of the last decent player we have bought except for Nugent. It can't be Baird or Carson as they were free, so who was it? It isn't Vydra who doesn't work hard enough and doesn't like to go for 50/50 balls. It certainly isn't the useless Camara or the hapless Anja or the forgotten Yman.
I think the answer to my question is Ince, no I must be wrong that was years ago and I still think he could work a lot more even though he has a knack of scoring against the poorer teams.
Just logged on to find all these serious posts and realised it is 5 o clock kick off.I was going to ask your advice on my plate of Shropshire blue, extra strong cheddar and some stinky French goo with a good selection of cheese biscuits. Is a low fat diet still recommended?
