Haha, fair enough.

There will always be those acclaimed albums that don't resonate with you personally; mine is Rumours by Fleetwood mac. I don't get anything from it!

I can agree with that!

Rumours is a guilty pleasure of mine, actually. Can't say why I like it but I do. Probably because my parents played it a lot and it has crossed wires with nostalgic feelings.

My music taste is quite eclectic:
90s indie:
Manics- Holy Bible, Gold Against the Soul; saw them 2001 in Cardiff
Suede- debut, Dog Man Star (saw them in 96 in Bristol)
Mansun- Grey Lantern, Six

Jazz
Miles Davis- In a Silent Way, Tribute to Jack Johnson

Misery
Nirvana
Smiths
NIN
Joy Division

Folk
Tim Buckley
Fred Neil

Also other things like Bowie, random 80s songs, Buffalo Springfield, The Pretty Things, 13th Floor Elevators.

Basically, it's all over the place. I just love finding new music all the time but I struggle to relate to newer stuff from the last ten years. I think it's a generational thing and largely my problem.

Just on the "Rumours" thing, that album contains the brilliant "You make loving fun"
No a big fan of FM but love that song, and Christine's voice

As a direct result of this thread, I've spent the afternoon listening to Sepultura.

...Although no-one actually mentioned them, one thing led to another, as it does.

Now that I also can't argue with. I remember buying the Roots digipack when it came out like it was almost yesterday

Apparently it was over 21 years ago
