Mansford in programme said beradi having dinner in Leeds, saw queue fir cinema,when it was explained it was about Leeds title win in 92 he stopped dinner and bought ticket to join fans. Said this is what club means to players, that they would 'die in a ditch' trying for us.

It was then pointed out that this wasn't true. Bet Ardi had bought ticket in advance hence why having dinner at restaurant by cinema.

Club has now apologised for the 'misunderstanding'.

Fans already appreciate Berardi, Why make up the stupid story in first place?

Bizzare thing to make up, ain't it? So obviously would get called out on it, especially as stories about Berardi were all over Twitter during the week.

Tbh, never read the owner bit anymore. Used to when it was Bates, but it is just the mouthpiece for propaganda and less interesting than the other parts of the programme.

It's not like Mansford's version is malicious, but definetely a lie.
