If it is terrorists as we all suspect it is, what kind of cant purposely sets off a bomb at a place where loads of kids are?
Saw it was an old pic.
Seen a post from another forum of someone who's daughter is there, doesn't sound good whatever it is.

Literally hundred of reports that it was a speaker malfunction.
I've even read some reports that it was a balloon being popped next to a mic.
Seen footage from inside the arena after the incident and there's no smoke or obvious damage.
Have a feeling this is fake news gone mad, but if not I hope everyone's safe.

There have been a couple of PA system malfunctions at football matches recently and it can sound like gunfire, so hopefully it was just that.

No it doesn't. In our City as well. Hope everyone is okay.
The police reaction seems to be that they know something we don't
there's eye witnesses telling BBC that it's not a fecking joke, something terrible has just happened
Seen a video on Twitter not sure how real it is but is of a dashcam and you see a big flash followed by a very loud bang. Very scary times.
this story was first reported almost an hour ago...if it were really serious, you'd expect some sort of comfirmation/eye witness account of exactly what happened by now, not just reports of loud bangs and people running.
hopefully anyway.
also Stretty I'm reading on twitter now that the security at the arena is shoddy
A speaker blows up, confusion ensues and people get hurt in the crush.
GMP wouldn't be tweeting avoid the area for a speaker malfunction and stopping trains.
No reports of any injuries so far thankfully. Fingers crossed its just an equipment failure
Bloody hell! Hope everybody is ok.
On Sky they're speculating that it could just be panic and maybe a crush or stampede caused by a loud bang. Only speculation though.

Hardly gonna invite the world and its mother in for a look around.
Fffs in these times it's a tag line.

It's like a bleeding roll call off who's being there
Speculation that a bomb went off as people were coming out of the gig which makes sense as you can't search bags outside of the venue
Just seen a post by GMP confirming fatalities. Hope it's another fake post.
