Look, Mourinho knows much better than you and I what players he needs for the system he wants to play. This isn't FIFA 17, where you can buy who you like and play them anywhere.

You can't just keep buying youth from poxy leagues and expect it to rejuvenate a top PL side.

Martial has as much potential as Dembele in the wide left/inside left position.

Pulisic is a talent, but that's all he is. Right now Perisic is better.

Never really watched him to be honest, but looks like he might be one of the best ever to me IMO

Jesus Christ this season hasn't even finished yet. The summer spending has hardly begun. To me from the little I have seen he looks like a solid player who can add width and attacking flair to our team. We need a balance, not just buy the very top players in each position. At 28 he is going to be at his peak, a player Jose more often than not likes. How about we see how the summer spending pans out before criticising

Also the last time we over paid for someone from Serie A, he also went on the have a largely underwhlemisnf season (being generous)
