Actually the 2005 ashes was great. Too young to remember botham's
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The Ashes win in Australia a few years back was superb. Smashed em.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Beating the Aussies at anything is quality.
Watching the Aussie prime minister giving World Cup winners medals to the England players will always have a special place in my heart.
So many Olympic ones mentioned already....but yeah have to agree that Saturday in London was special. For drama that Dutch girl in Rio in the road race just glad she was OK at the end.

The ashes is called the ashes because it goes on for sooooo long that by the time it ends, that's all that's left of spectators.
1992 Cricket world cup. Pakistan winning against all odds.
Difficult to just choose one;
1. Ali KO'ing Foreman (Thrilla in Manilla)
2.Arsenal's invincibles season
3.London Olympics Super Saturday (Mo, Jessica, Greg)
4.Leicester clinching title over spúúds
5.Joshua vs Klitschko fight
Lewis Hamilton's 3 WDC just missed out.
2005 Ashes
Ronnie O`Sullivans 5 minute 20 seconds 147
I enjoy all sport but the only events that have come close to football are:
2005 Ashes - the reason I like cricket. Never really watched it before. Finally understood how test matches could be gripping and been hooked ever since.
2003 World Cup - amazing final. Remember going to Spurs after the match and WHL singing swing low.
2012 Olympics - watched pretty much everything with that. Probably my favourite summer of sport and comes close to topping a World Cup (might actually do it).
Bothams Ashes, then Flintoff lee in 2005
Come on lads, crickets not really a sport. I found the 08, croquet chapionshio breath taking but it's not really a sport either.
Was the 2005 Ashes when England actually had fast bowlers, and I mean fast? Harmison, Flintoff and Jones?
1966 West Ham winning the World Cup for the English.
It was but Wood Plunkett Stokes and Woakes are as good.
1966 West Ham winning the World Cup for the English.
Cant disagree Maf

Apart from the fact it's supposed to be non football
Coe vs Ovett when I was a kid. Moscow Olympics
Borg vs McEnroe.
Andy Murray winning Wimbledon.
Benn, Eubank and Watson.
Prince Nasseem.
The Four Kings. SRL, The Hit man, Stone Hands and Hagler.
Holyfield, Tyson and Lewis.
When Kevin Keegan fell off his bike in Superstars.

Sigh.... If you can't acknowledge the skill required, and how physically demanding it is when played to a reasonable level, then your opinion is worthless 👍
I'll never forget our boys getting smashed to pieces when the Windies were in their prime. The state of Gattings face......
Boxing used to be amazing compared to now. The amount of legendary matches is amazing, and it was all free to watch......
Daley Thompson in the decathlon, what an athlete! His whistling the national anthem was pretty funny as well. Not to mention his epic Atari game, the blisters and numerous broken joysticks......
All the Ali v Frazier fights, The Brazil World Cup team 1970, Rodney Fern oh and LCFC winning the Lge last season.
Hamilton winning his first F1 title on the final corner of the Brazilian Grand Prix
