If I was a Spurs fan I'd probably feel quite underwhelmed by Fonseca considering who was or thought to be in the frame for the job but it could've been worse and at least you should be better to watch next season and not feel as exhausted following your club.

Hopefully Ten Hag is still at Ajax when we're looking a new manager but then we'd probably never even consider appointing him.

Even Man City’s top brass were talking about a lack of liquidity in football. What I don’t understand is that someone made an article about Alistair Gold - who is apparently the club mouthpiece - where he explicitly says that Spurs are skint and that they’ll need to sell players to bring in cash for signings, then people lose their minds because Spurs wouldn’t give in to Conte’s presumably ridiculous demands.

I like how today Jose said that England need a runner beyond Kane like Son to really work. Then when he picked his lineup he picked Kane Foden Mount Grealish.

It’s why Sterling will surely play. I think Rashford might as well given he was made captain the other day.

Yeah pretty much. He’s apparently carrying two injuries and hasn’t really recovered from his back injury last season. You can see it in his movements and the lack of intensity that he’s playing with now compared to seasons before. I think he’s fatigued as well, I read he’s played like 70 odd games in the last 12 months.

He shouldn’t be starting for England really. His form and fitness don’t justify it, even if he’s still capable of moments of magic.

Turkey quite poor but it's been a good performance from Italy.

Could see them being quite a stubborn side this tournament.

I do like their midfield.

Yeah they look good. Though I’ve not really been watching in the second half because the tennis is better.
