yeah Djoko is gonna do the Slam this year
Federer has become an old man overnight
Always happens when a sportsman goes on for too long
I wouldn’t say it’s overnight. He’s gradually declined over the last few years due to age and injuries. Could be the last time we see him at Wimbledon.
Saka back in. Hope the defence holds up again today.
I think one of the reasons he's gone with Saka is to help curb the threat of Maehle. Hopefully he can trouble him going the other way.

Federer getting destroyed.
Djokovic should be winning the Golden Slam this year. He’s too good for everyone now.

----------------------------------------------------------------------My bad but you can't blame me for assuming you don't know your arris from your elbow as thats something you're famous for.
I believe it may potentially be coming home
Conatulations lads.
Only one team on the pitch from about 60-70 minutes on to be fair. One thing though. I'd be grateful if I never again had to suffer English fans complain of opponents going down too easily. I give it until Sunday.
Member just fack off you don’t know what you are talking about.
We are in the final my boys, this is phenomenal.
Yeh diving has been a huge part of the English game for 20 years now, I’ve never cared and been so butthurt about any player diving when the risk outweighs the reward. I didn’t think Sterling’s one was that bad though
Sterling at least had a case to go to ground. Kane was (and generally is) far more annoying in that regard. Fantastic striker, utter cant of a footballer.
People talking about Sterling's dive, but aren't mentioning that Denmark's free-kick leading to their goal shouldn't have been given. Christensen wasn't fouled.
Swings and roundabouts for me.
And this is aside from the fact that England totally deserved to win the game.
Not me. I jut said Sterling at least had a case.
I haven't even seen a replay of the free-kick so I can't say whether it was or wasn't a foul, but I don't think a free-kick from 25 yards out is at all comparable to a penalty in terms of the likelihood of converting it, so it's not really a case of swings and roundabouts imo. Moreover, I also felt the ref gave England a lot more than he gave Denmark.
Your last point was my first, so nothing to say there.
IOAG, my comment wasn't directed toward you, it was just what I'd been reading online and found it a bit frustrating.
In response to what you've said, whilst I accept that a 25 yard free kick isn't the same as a penalty, we can't ignore that the non-foul leading to that action ended up as a goal. It wasn't a good decision and it led to a disadvantage for England.
I'm not sure I agree about the referee giving more favourable decisions to Denmark, either. They were committing a lot of silly fouls throughout the game and disrupted their own momentum by making naive challenges even on the occasion where they were trying to pressure England. But I think this is a minor point in the grand scheme of things.
*more favourable decisions to England
My bias is probs coming through but I didn’t really see many decisions I thought were questionable. England won a lot of soft fouls but it was good forward play from loveable Kane and Grealish.
I don't really have a big issue with the pen. Not the most stonewall, but they do get given, more so to the bigger team on home soil. As a Madrid fan I'd be a hypocrite to feign outrage.
All of which really makes the argument about a foul 25 yards out that I haven't even seen replayed rather moot. I just think it's a bit of a feeble instance for claiming that decisions balance themselves out.
I did also feel Makkelie awarded England numerous soft fouls and was quite unimpressed with his time-keeping. Again, as a Spain fan I'm more than used to our players going down at the slightest breath, but then that's something a lot of English fans only seem to notice when others do it.
And if you go on to win it, this time people won't be able to say it was only because it was on home soil.
I don’t care, mate. I’m a United fan and have seen my team win so many times. Seeing England win is more special.
Yeh you can pick the best team to see them win, don’t get to pick ur country
I made my country grate though
