Meant more on Xavi changing Barca. I didn’t know he spoke English.

There was a tweet yesterday after the Barca game saying ‘Pedri is what Chelsea fans think Mason Mount is’.

I thought you'd appreciate the incompetent Woodward headline.

The video is from late January mind but he says training has changed a lot. It's quicker, more intense, competitive and more cognitive based however at the time it wasn't translating to games. Also he's given the media much greater access to training, more than they've had under any manager since Van Gaal.

Hunter says he's been speaking English for about 9-10 years now but I think only in recent years he's been comfortable enough to speak it in interviews etc.

I seen another one saying Xavi is what they thought Lampard would be as manager.

Cheers, that’s interesting stuff. That Lampard one is good.

Arab, Dot Cotton died today.

Erik ten Hag wants to sign Ajax's Jurrien Timber for #mufc if he becomes the new manager #mulive [@MikeVerweij]

He’s 5ft 10. Can he jump and head the ball? That’s what I want to know.

He's not Kounde when it comes to heading the ball but I do wonder if Ten Hag may have a plan to use him at RB as I think he looks more comfortable on the ball than Kounde to play that role and he does often find himself in advanced positions and if Ten Hag wants his full-backs to tuck in with the midfield then that's an option too but that's me just speculating.

He's also maybe a really good build up option on the right of a back three but I don't see him using a back three very often.

He looks grate on the ball. I’m just sick of us having so many players that are waaaank in the air, so hopefully he’s not.

I watched it with an Arsenal-supporting English visitor in a British pub in downtown Madrid.

The horror! The horror!

Browsing through some of the nicknames the French gave their kings:

The Bald
The Short
The Fat
The Stammerer
The Simple
The Sluggard

Kinda makes you wonder how they didn't see it coming!

They’ve been pretty good with their names. The Burgundian Dukes had some good ones as well, like Philip and Charles the Bold, John the Fearless and Philip the Good.
