I don’t think it’s that simple. There’s a period that allows clubs to gradually reduce it to 90%, 80% and finally 70%.

Napoli’s finances will be crap this season due to failure to qualify for the CL as well, don’t forget.

I presume that salary cut you speak of was at current revenue to 70%?

It’s going to be years before the 70% threshold needs to met, and you’ll not know what your revenues will even be then right now as CL qualification is such a huge revenue stream.
