My friend is in Barcelona right now. He said there was a storm but that it was just rain.
That’s so sad about the baby.
North East Spain is v prone to severe thunderstorms at the end of the summer.
Late August and September is actually the wettest time of the year in many parts of Catalonia

Strangely enough, my other grandad was from a town about the same distance from France on the Basque side.
Both areas are in the real heartlands of Basque and Catalan separatism too.

He’s got some other stories as well. Dean Saunders has a good one about when he went to his house to sign him. Was watching quite a few vids with stories about him from ex players - they all seem to be really good at doing impressions of him.
I’ve noticed a lot of ex players are getting really into doing, or going, on podcasts. It’s grate, you get a lot of good stories from them that never really entered the public domain.
Liverpool signing the Brazilian Harry Winks was an unexpected one. Rube swapping Pjanic for him must be one of the worst transfers ever.
