Dunno, was even worse the way he spoke to that Danish journalist that asked about the team’s intensity. Bloke is a cuuuuunt.

I just hate it when managers punch down on journos just because they can. On the odd occasion, you might get a journo who's disrespectful, but it's so cheap and low to lash out at someone you know cannot defend themselves.

Depends who the journo is and who he works for.

I think it depends on the journo, and the circumstances, but I’d generally agree.

Most of the journos have to ask these questions, otherwise the editors/heads of newspapers will look for another journo who will get better scoops

True but if you have to ask absolute diiickhead questions, sometimes you have to take your medicine when you’ve chosen to lack integrity by becoming a journalist.

I don’t really have an issue with club specific journos (in the US they call it ‘beat reporters’ which I think is great). I get more wound up by the chief of staff type ones who can write about anything and typically are tools (Delaney, Matt Law etc)

Yeah that’s fair. I do think in general football journalists are just terrible. But that’s just the state of journalism in general. Murdoch has a lot to answer for.
