I had knots in my stomach at one point, never knew I really cared about England like this ( at least not in decades) - then again might just be the gut-wrenching anguish of yet again being kicked out again by penalties. Of which, forget the players, every fan needs a life-time of therapy to deal with that

Genuinely, I don’t think you realise how nerve racking that was as a scouser that supports Spain, peks. We don’t win pens! Last time we did was against....... Spain.
