What a mess. Lucky I was at uni and couldn't watch.

Listened to a bit of the Valencia game on the radio.

At the start of the second half, they commented on the Ashley Young substitution and said "He'll be lining up alongside Jones, which means he'll have his work cut out for him." Lol.

Our club is a wreck, the players and manager are all pointless. No fan can even get excited by match days anymore. We are irrelevant.

i actually think kashima antlers will beat is in the world club cup semis

worried we'll be drawn with Liverpool or some other club i couldn't stand losing to in the champions league draw tomorrow

would like us to get lyon or schalke...i wouldnt be bothered getting KOed by one of them...have nothing against those clubs

I'm not going to lose all hope just yet, but playing at our current level, I agree. We're winning games against Liga basement dwellers by the skin of our teeth. Hard to see us overcoming any serious competition.

Liverpool would probably maul us right now. There's still some dwindling hope our game might pick up in time for the k.o. rounds, but right now we look light years away from competing with the top sides.

We are not coming home with the WCC without some degree of improvement either. I hope we at least manage to field at team capable of taking a game seriously and showing some fire in the belly.

Shocking how fast have become a pathetic charicature of a football team. Solari has a huge task ahead of him, but I'm not seeing much indication that he might actually be up to it.

I don't even know who to get if we sack him tomorrow. Ironically, it'll be his third year anniversary then from Chelsea sacking him.

Nah Daz, I hated Van Gaal and wanted him binned. I wanted Jose as well because I thought he'd be a safe option, but I didn't foolishly suggest he'd change his ways as a manager. It's not like he's some up and coming coach.

Every defeat is followed by claims he’s gone, the next win is supposedly keeping him in a job a little longer.

I don’t think they are looking at it like this way at all. I think there’s probably a belief that’s it’s reactionary. Which is the worrying thing, because it’s far from that to sack Mourinho now.

There’s no contingency which they feel will radically change things right now and so it’s probably better to stick with Mourinho.

If Blanc wasn't out of the game for two and a half years, I'd give him a shot. But he'll be another risk.
