Rabiot to Barcelona a done deal.

hope he gets rabies
Rabieo
Barca apparently getting some bumkid French defender called Todibo on a free in the summer as well. Have to wonder if they are being priced out of a move for De Jong/De Ligt due to transfer fee and their stretched wage bill.
Unless they are going to sell a load of players on big wages. Like Umtiti, Rakitic, Vidal or even Dembele.

I like Rabiot as a player but is bringing him in worth losing out on Frenkie De Jong? I would imagine it's one or the other for them unless as you say they can offload some players and convince him to join.
PSG do seem to be the favourites to sign De Jong and De Ligt at the moment.
Not seen enough of De Jong to say. Maybe they want both? Rafinha and Denis Suarez are off. And there’s talk of Rakitic. Busquets, De Jong, Rabiot, Vidal and Arthur seems feasible. And with Coutinho and Sergi Roberto able to play in the middle as well they’d be well stocked.
Good thing for us is that I think we can rule Barca out of signing Pogba. With the players they are chasing and their finances I don’t think it’s a financially viable transfer.
I wonder what role De Jong will end up in.
Seen him play in midfield for club and country and I've seen him play at CB a couple of times for Ajax and watching him scythe through teams after starting a run from CB was a sight to behold.
I can't imagine him playing there though wherever he goes next and being allowed to do that.
Some talent.
He looks great on youtube. I watched the Bayern game and he didn’t really stand out.
Always hard to tell where Dutch players will end up. With them being coached the way they are they end up being so versatile and on occasion just fall into a position that fits and that is available to them in the team.
Looks really talented. He’s been compared to Modric which I can understand as there appear to be similarities.
Diego Godin in advanced talks to join Inter this summer.
Simeone to follow suit eventually surely.
I thought he signed a new contract. Miranda supposedly leaving, not a bad replacement.
I reckon Simeone will hold off on Inter for a few years yet.
This is how easy it's become to hurt us:

it's an easy tactic for the opposition team to use, when marcelo is on the pitch...his lack of physical conditioning this season is ludicrous
he's pretty much gifted the opposing team a least a goal a game whenever he's played
Looking back at the equaliser the other night, Isco hardly covered himself in glory either. He just stopped tracking Cazorla to take up a position on the edge of the box, regardless of the fact he could plainly see no-one else had picked up Cazorla.
Marcelo obviously picks who to cover poorly (his man on the wing is about 20 yards away), but the whole defensive setup is just an absolute shambles. We have 7 men in the box to their 3 (including the ball carrier), and one of them still turns up to head home completely unmarked.
It's an absolute joke. The fact Cazorla stands a towering 1.65M just adds to the comedy value.
This is all boding so well for Mourinho’s return. It’s mad how bad you’ve become.
Biggest contradiction in a potential Mourinho return would be the amount of cash we're spunking on teenagers who'd struggle to get a game under him.
Still can't see what we're going to do with them all though, tbh. Can't really see Odegaard or Vinicius becoming first team fixtures any time soon, doubt we'll be throwing Diaz on too much now either, and no idea what this Rodrygo fella is going to be like.
Imagine being one of those guys then Mourinho walks through the door.
Half of me thinks you buy a lot of these players to stop others getting them/in the hope of then selling them on for big money to premier league clubs.
Same here. But the other half thinks we haven't got an effing clue what we're doing.
There is that. Wonder if you are looking to tempt Poch by filling the squad with young talent and removing some of the big egos.
Or by not winning anything
