Don't do this lads. Its like 2 bald men fighting over a comb.
Saka signing a new contract is grate news for Arsenal. He looks a good young player.

I can't see Spurs coming close tbh, Edin. You might even be pushed for the Least-Crap-Team-in-North-London Trophy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How come? It’s a relatively generous set of fixtures left.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Even if you do beat Sheffield U away tonight, you'd still be 6 points off the pace with 6 games to go, and that's IF both Chelsea and Leicester lose this round.
Realistically, you'd need to win at least 5 wins and hope that 3 of the 4 sides above you falter badly enough for you to claw back both the points gap and goal difference.
And looking at the other four sides' fixtures, you can't really say that Spurs have it significantly better than any of the others. United's looks even kinder than yours, Wolves have it similar, and Chelsea could well have clinched it before the final two rounds.
Plus, we all want Mourinho to fail. That should be enough.
Yeah, it's good news - but we need to build on it now. Get in some other players of prime age, who fit Arteta's style, rather than being a retirement home for ex-great players.

I guess in my mind 5th is the new 4th and I think Leicester/Spurs/Wolves will be battling it out for that spot

Samir, yeah need a decent balance. Though I’m still unsure what Arteta’s style is. I’ve seen it mentioned a lot, but when I watch Arsenal there isn’t much identity and the team looks more like a Moyes team than a Pep or Wenger one.

There's a decent article which explains what he's trying to do in a bit more detail, should only take about 4-5 minutes to read if you have time:

good article that
There’s actually similarities with Moyes’ Everton and what he was trying to do at United.
From what I’ve seen, though, there doesn’t seem to be a consistent theme, especially since the break. Hard to do when your squad is a mess, I suppose.
Maybe when he’s got more players you’ll see more consistency in what he’s trying to do. He’s gotta be looking at the midfield and crying.
I read an interesting theory where most successful managers pick a formation, get their team to be able to play under that system and then adjust it after. Arteta has played so many systems already.
Is it true Moyes tried showing Rio videos of Phil jagielka? That's one rumour I couldn't quite believe
Arteta’s been on the phone to Ole, by the sounds of it.
Tu Meke, nah it was ballacks. Was such a grate rumour, though. That and Zaha was dropped from the squad for shaaagging his daughter.
would've been hilarious if true
I chose to believe the Jagielka one for ages because it was such good material for wumming Rob with over Moyes.
Almost up there with Benítez try to teach Modric how to strike the ball.

I think deep down everybody even United fans wanted that to be true.

Rob just reads the room, then decides which way will piiiiiss off the most people. He’s fantastic at it.
Rob's is wasting his talent here. He should be on a Russian troll farm.
Just reading Arsenal are ramping up their interest in Thomas Partey.
The kind of player Arsenal's midfield has needed for facking donkeys.
Also read that if Lacazette goes, they'll look at bringing in Depay. I'd probably be looking to make both of those things happen anyway because it would balance out their attack more.
We need a goalscorer in midfield aswell as Partey tbh. Being linked with that Szobzolai fella at Salzburg.
