That was 11/12 but that wasn’t the last game, we finished 4th and Chelsea did the CL final

11/12 was weird. Arsenal were crap but still got 3rd, spurs missing out on CL despite 4th was well funny cos their fans were being cringy facks.

Chelsea winning the CL was depressing as hell.

I think the joke was it was a 13 point gap because spurs took the lead in the NLD. but we ended up winning 5-2

I wasn’t being literal by saying right at the end. That was the season I meant.

That season was facking mental. Spurs bottle that massive lead and finish below Arsenal, then Chelsea win the CL.

And there’s obviously our complete bottled job when we had an eight point lead with six to go and that flukey Aguero goal.

The mad thing people forget about that season was in January we were 2/3 points behind City/Utd played City then Balotelli stomped on Parker’s head (outrageously the ref missed it) then he went on to score the winner. It was such BS.

We then had a few more good results and needed 1/2 more players to have a genuine title push and got Saha and Nelsen

Spurs punched massively above their weight to be that close at that stage, it was obvious they were never gonna maintain it, even if you’d made a couple of better signings as you were still Tottenham.

Mctominay looks a good player from the admittedly little I've seen of him. Can do a bit of everything. Bit older than I thought he was at 23 though

He’s pretty average on the ball. Less of an issue when playing the bigger sides and we need his ball winning but when we have the ball he struggles to influence the play.

Matic been really good since the restart, he’s a weird player who I never really rate but teams he play in consistently do well
