Fanz can vote via the ESL app n terminate a game early if the play is not exciting enuff so they can go 2 that new bar downtown that sells PigsPiss IPA @ $9 a glass.

The bloke is a facking caaaant.
Infantino: "At Fifa, we can only and strongly disapprove the creation of The Super League, a Super League which is a closed shop, which is a breakaway from the current institutions."
Infantino: "There is a lot to throw away for maybe a short-term financial gain of some."
Infantino: "If some elect to go their own way then they must live with the consequences of their choice. They are responsible for their choice. Concretely, this means either you are in or you are out."
Doesn’t sound like a strong condemnation and nothing on players being banned from the WC either
Flo and his followers deserve the gulag

Clubs won’t have a home soon anyway. I genuinely think we will just be ‘SPURS’ very soon.
Play one our two games in our world class Tottenham ground a season as it hosts every sporting and musical event that is possible

not defending it as such
i'm being realistic...it's gonna happen
just musing on how to make the best of it, and what may happen in the future
in may seem totally wrong to us, but younger generations won't see it like that....and that's who these clubs are banking on attracting
as they said, we are now classed as "legacy fans"
It’s daft comparing it to American sport. It’s not a mechanism to make things competitive, it will destroy football.
Its gonna happen and people have the freedom not watching the new league.
Perez and the others are successful in life because they know what they are doing.
This can work if they implement a relegation and a promotion in the ESL.

There’s a weird attitude on here adopted by Peks, toplad et al - justifying the league due to ‘inevitability’ or ‘it already creeping into the game’ as if this is some sort of big brain take. The situation is pretty clear, our disgust isn’t due to incomprehension but the desire for immediate, decisive and harsh action.
I am, and we all are (bar dim Don) fully aware that the clubs who are doing this have been getting away with murder for donkeys and they have us by the balls. The fact of the matter is the shear contempt towards us, the selfishness and the definitive destruction of the game we love is the most obvious line in the sand. This decision is the straw that has broken the camel’s back - we understand the situation we are just outraged that it has finally come to this.
I for one don’t think I’m alone in hoping that all the clubs involved get disbarred including my own.
Edin
Even the facking Tories are outraged by this. That should tell you everything.
the ESL clubs obviously do care about fans...because without their money paying into TV subs, Merch, etc, they dont have anything
They don't care about local "legacy" fans though ..but haven't done so for a coupla decades, as their marketing has made them go global
Madrid and Farza don't apply to this however, as they are members' clubs...so ofcourse they care about them, as they are the clubs
However I believe in Spain most Madrid and Farza socios are behind the ESL
I'm not in favour of it btw...but tbh I'd go back to the old european cup..i preferred that to the CL
They don’t give a shiiiiiit about their fans. And if the socios are behind this it shows that Barca and Madrid fans are even bigger cuuuunts than we already thought they were.
‘I’m not even favour, btw’ but I’m just gonna make excuses for these actions is basically the same as ‘I’m not racist, but...’

They don’t care about the fans though fans I think you highlighted exactly why in your comment. They care about our money.
If they cared about fans they wouldn’t continually inflate ticket prices or shirt prices or whatever to a ridiculous degree. If they cared about fans they wouldn’t have agreed to finals being such a corporate mess. If they cared about fans they wouldn’t organise games at unrealistic times for fans to attend just to suit the tv schedule. If they cared about fans they wouldn’t cosy up to tv networks who charge fans most of their surplus cash to watch games. If they genuinely, truly cared about fans, they would have consulted us first. We are nothing but a figure to them, an asset that provides tangible equity.

enough mug fans over the years have paid the stupid TV subscription fees, £80 for a facking football top and stupid money to watch matches live
there's enough of them out for the clubs to have kept doing it and hiking up prices for decades
