UEFA president Aleksander Čeferin: "If I start with Ed Woodward, he called me last Thursday evening saying he’s very satisfied with and fully supports the reforms. The only thing he wants to talk about was FFP, when obviously he had already signed something else."

Shameful
Leeds are well ahead Edin.

Facking quality
I don’t think they have the power to strip a private company of its name. Though the Glazers probably wouldn’t care. They want to move the club to London anyway.
Clubs won’t have a home soon anyway. I genuinely think we will just be ‘SPURS’ very soon.
Play one our two games in our world class Tottenham ground a season as it hosts every sporting and musical event that is possible
The big clubs hold all the aces. Even if they can't get some players onside to begin with, there'll be more than enough to field strong teams, and if it's a success, in time every player will want to join.
Happened decades ago with all the other pro leagues, and also happened in individual sports like tennis. Eventually, the governing bodies have to come round to the idea that if they want a piece of the piece, it can't be on their terms.
Hell, even the IOC had to make special doping allowances for NBA players.

One thing I love is that apparently local councils have the right to strip the clubs of their names. Such a cheap shot I can’t wait for Lammy to pull the trigger
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Never gonna happen.
Yeah a lot of these games will be played all around the world, I’ve no doubt about that. It’s genuinely upsetting. I know that football’s been going this way, but it still had some semblance of sporting merit and integrity. This isn’t the game I fell in love with.
It’s probably started going downhill since the 80s but this is more than the final nail in the coffin. It’s a bolder being chucked on it to cover and suffocate all.

ffs
Imagine if it was actually the facking Tories that stopped this and saved football.
It would only mean that we've all chosen the wrong sport.
But seriously, imagine having less integrity than Boris Johnson.
It's not like this is a show of integrity on his part though. It's about the easiest topic to take the popular side on.
The CL reform has an allowance for historic teams that didn’t qualify to have a place. wtf.
Not that it’ll matter but still shambles.
Indeed, but they still have less than Johnson.
Yeah the CL reform is almost as bad
