I bet he's seriously considering it
I can't see it myself, but you never know.
If any manager feels he is being let down by the club in transfer windows, then it should have him questioning his position.

Not sure of the circumstances of Poch's departure from Saints and Spurs is clearly a step-up but if it was connected in any way to their policy of prudency in the transfer market then that could be a pointer to how he feels.
I don't get it, we have a solid first 11 and all we need is two decent players to make up a squad, if it's a salary issue that should be sorted internally
Right now, I suspect the answer is no. He seems pretty comfortable with the situation & there's no way that he's unaware that financial restraints are gonna impact his ability to sign new/retain existing players. He was hired for a reason.... to develop young players/keep costs down in a way the like of Pep & Jose can't. Sadly like the issues with the players he is underpaid vs his peers and quite frankly outperforms then given the restraints under which he has to operate. I can see him at Spurs for the next few years (through the move to the new stadium but probably no more than 3). Sadly I fear we are looking at a future much like Arsenal's recent past where the stadium costs lingered/ impacted football operations beyond the completion of the Emirates. No wonder Levy wanted the Olympic stadium site so badly. West Ham got away withe murder with their deal and as a result are financially much more competitive than us. I think working for Levy must be incredibly stressful despite the positive noises being made at the moment.

I get that the stadium cost is eating up resources but at least keep what you've got happy but using a percentage of the Walker 50m to increase wages
It hasn't held them back from being better than; United, City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool over the past two seasons.
Unless he goes to a top club abroad I don't see the point of him leaving them.
First 11 (injury free)
Lloris, Tripper, Toby, Dier, Verts, Rose
Wanyam, Dembele
Eriksen, Alli, Son
Kane
Subs
Wimmer, NKondu, Janseen, Winks, Davies, Sissoko, Lamela, Walker-Peters, CCV
That's not bad if you ask me
Lloris, Tripper, Toby, Verts, Rose
Wanyam, Dembele
Eriksen, Alli, Son
Kane
Had 12
Yes, at some point. We won't sack him unless something absolutely disastrous happens. There comes a point where a manager hits a ceiling and needs to be backed by the hierarchy. That's not happening so essentially he's carrying everyone at the club. There's only so long he'll put up with that. In fact, if he didn't look elsewhere he'd be holding back his own reputation. It's not just the club that needs silverware. My bet is that if PSG don't get to the semis of the CL this season, regardless of their domestic form, they'll sack their coach Emery. As a former PSG man, Poch would jump at the change to coach the likes of Neymar etc.
In short, I think we've hit our ceiling and Poch has hit his ceiling. To go further, he needs financial backing and he won't get it.
Poch has never really been a big spending manager though, it will be interesting to see if it is one of his philosophies or if this is just due to who he worked under at Espanyol/Saints/Spurs
Edin
He hardly spent at Saints, was a mere £30million and most on Osvaldo, he shipped out 13 players

Spurs salary is £121 million, revenue is £210million
Poch was always going to use Spurs as a stepping stone. He's apparently an ambitious man
This is just speeding the process up. My bet is this will be his last season.

All very noble but long-term spending little to nothing and underpaying your staff in comparison to rivals will create disharmony.
Levy and Poch have done a marvellous job so far but it could all fall away unless money is spent on keeping the playing staff happy.
Really short-sighted by Levy and the Board.

Why? He's not unambitious and has a career to think about the same as Rose and the others.
Poch has a history of kicking out players from teams that disrupt, I'm sure he'll do this again with no hesitation
Tottenham go through a lot of managers all the time

As I said there is no evidence of him wanting to sign big. Will be interesting to see how he views our lack of activity.
