I'm a realist Fridgeboy, I just can't see the club being held to ransom over wages, until we're in the new ground and our revenue increases I just can't see it,

Hope so! Although I'm not suggesting Levy change his ways, he never will. It's more about stepping aside. I like his principles but if we ever lose Poch based on a lack of ambition, I don't think I can back him anymore. And I won't be alone.

how would you know though. if poch leaves to go to barca its nothing to do with spurs, its the fact that barca want him. spurs could have won the pl for three years straight, he would probably still make that move.......

True, but Barca are on a different planet. If it's a huge step up, wherever it is then it makes sense, but if it's a sideways step, you'd question it.

His comments came with quotation marks from an actual interview rather than through a third party so I think it's safe to assume that he said them.

I'd guess that after Walker left his agent spoke to the club and asked for more money. When that was refused Rose and his agent decided to go public and use the 'I'm honest and say what I think' plus 'I miss my poor mum who is a whole 2 hours away' excuse.

Fact is if he wanted to leave then he should have done a 'Sanchez' and refused to sign a new contract last Summer.

Players like Isco earn less than Rose and don't have a moan, it seems Premiership players like to moan and demand more.

Only Kane is our irreplaceable player, the rest can be replaced, if some of them want out then go on, off you go.

Reckon Rose will be gone come the end of August and I am worrying about Eriksen if Barcelona don't get Countinho.

Poch has never really been a big spending manager though, it will be interesting to see if it is one of his philosophies or if this is just due to who he worked under at Espanyol/Saints/Spurs

Good point.

He isn't really a big spending manager anyway. Lot of similarities between him and Wenger over implementing a long term philosophy.

I very much doubt he'd quit over player pay issues. If he decides he's not being supported on transfers then it's possible.
