Ok could have been worse and some good stuff defensively but just not quite putting it together further forward.It's not a bad result and start but when Wood is either shackled or not quite on it we don't look like scoring.

Yes but the stupid thing is a loss and two wins would have made it 6 from 9. Draws are no good in this league!

Playing Hernandez for a full game is asking for trouble

Draws are ok if they peg back the likes of Fulham Early, early days ..

Defence allegedly weakened by Bartley not at the club any more and all this attacking flair we've bought, and yet we've 2 clean sheets in a row against decent sides but we can't buy a goal. Strange, no?

well we won't beat Sunderland - we can't score - and we won't score with Plank up front - especially when his head has been turned. He was only ever half good (pens and mis-hit shots and missed chances) when no-one wanted him.

Hey Hampshire - genuinely get you don't agree with me and I appreciate the response because it was tempered and there's lots of people on here who aren't quite so restrained. I have a strong opinion on Wood and I get v frustrated by him. I know I'm probably in the minority but I express my opinion every so often cos that's what this site is about and it keeps it interesting doesn't it

It does indeed. However I don't agree with calling Wood a "plank", he scored over 30 goals last season and should have had one tonight. If we remember rightly, he started slowly last season too. In regards to him having his head turned, I can't comment on that, you might be right. I certainly hope not.

I might be wrong but I think Woody just inched that offside for the goal

Philips and Shaughnessy played really well
