I'll risk the insults from Cinciwolf for daring to have a different opinion to him, but having seen Wolves live for the first time this season, I don't think we are as good as some make out.
In the last 5 matches we have beaten Millwall 1-0 (they are 15th in the league), drawn with B City (8th) Beaten Forest by the odd goal (11th), struggled to an injury time win against B Rovers (L1) and beaten Barnsley by the odd goal (21st). Four of those matches were at fortress Molineux as well.
Not playing well and winning is great but good sides play consistently well and put the lesser sides away.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We have also been Southampton, middlesboro, derby and hull. One defeat in our first 12 games of the season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes, we have, but recent "form" is not great. I'm sure that there's more to come (especially if Costa can rediscover last season's for), but it's still nerve-wracking watching Wolves struggle against the "lesser" teams.
6 draws in the Champo so far today, that's always good if you win, including those that lost that's 16 sides that have dropped points on us today.

I would just keep an eye on boro and fulham, we finish above those two we will be promoted.
We haven't seen Fulham yet but I was at the M'bro game and I thought they looked a decent side.
Barnsley deserved a draw, there is a Cav song that goes" he never gives the ball away" which can be adapted, good day out anyway on train on first leg of journey back
Would start all of Douglas, N'diaye and Eno for the next game, time to freshen it up a little.
Think I agree with that Cinci, a bit harsh on Bonatini though
Jota 5 goals 1 assist
Bonatini 3 goals 4 assists
Cavaleiro 1 goal 2 assists
Eno 1 goal 1 assist
Not too shabby from our forwards is it?

So Eno for Cav, N'Diaye for Saiss and Douglas for whom?
Surely you're not going to drop Jota?
Might have few G&T's tonight after a thread like that, good job they all read up at HT
Oh I see, Douglas for Vinagre

Thanks for the help Cinci, the old brain cells are struggling today
What a last 10 minutes ..... poor 80 before that though but we got there in the end. Stunner from Bright, I think ruddy is looking a bit suspect at the moment it might be time to give Norris a go.
I see our illustrious leader Gua was there today along with Pulis.

You're quite right to be concerned looking at the performances, rather than just the results. And you are entitled to have your own views, as its a forum. If Cinci & Witless get to run it, it'll just be another MolMinx, so don't let them shout you down.
The result today was fantastic, but it doesn't hide the fact we were fortunate (again), and we need a striker. Fortunately goals are coming from other areas, but we're not entirely convincing.
Don't know how this season compares with the last time we won the league, at this stage. I'd like results to be more convincing and not always go to the wire!
Poor first half today with Barnsley clogging up the midfield with a 451 and we weren't able to find any space and the passing suffered as a result. The game became a bit more stretched after the break which suited us more, although the game could have gone either way.
N'Diaye made a big difference when he came on. Won some crunching tackles and he is a genuine box to box player whereas Saiss is more defensive minded.having another player willing to get into the opponents area was a key factor as Bonatini was getting little support and Jota was very closely marked today.
First goal came from N'Diaye getting forward and it was a really well controlled volley from Bright. Their equaliser was poor defending with the ball bobbing around in our area and nobody making a decisive clearance. Saw no reason to blame Ruddy though. The winner was superbly set up by Bonatini with N'Diaye again getting into the right area. The new Dave Edwards

Praise indeed
Villa beat Forest, Villa will be up there at the end of the season too
Can't agree with those being overly negative. No team performs consistently well all season. Champions do win when they aren't at their best. The thing that gives me most hope for promotion is that twice on recent weeks we've suffered the disappoimtment of a late goal against and the players have kept positive, kept their heads and come back to score again.
I don't think we will have too many games where saiss, neves, cav and jota are all quite so ineffective for such long spells. But we have others to step up - eno and particularly N'Diaye today. And Costa still to come back.
A mention for Batth today...best game he's played in two years.
