People on here don't seem to understand the importance of Fabregas in that midfield. Yes, he's slow, yes, he's not defensively-minded, but what he lacks, he makes up with his vision, passing and intelligence.
At Juve, Pirlo was almost the same as Fab, but what Pirlo lacked in other aspects of his game, he made up with his creativity and passing.
Conte is recreating what he did with Juve.
Baka is the last piece of the jigsaw...

Agreed with all of that. I feel people didnt appreciate Deco as much either. Another player who we got a bit too late. A true ball playing midfielder.

In recent years, we've had defensive-minded Managers/coaches, which I believe have rubbed off on some of our fans.
This makes some of the fans unappreciative of technical players.
There's been so much emphasis on defending, that some of the fans prefer more defensive players to the more technically gifted ones.

Like Hazard said in a recent interview...'there are players that are meant for defending, while some for creativity.'

What we're missing in this midfield is a goalscorer. I think RLC could excel in this role in the future.

Ngoloyoko however is a dream and the other side of football which is beautiful

Kante is THE BEST midfield player in the world I've not ever seen a player like him. He will get compared to the greatest DM that ever lived in makalele but kante is far superior.

We have some team at the moment and are someewhat going under the radar had it not been for a very very good Arsenal performance and a decent ref against Burnley we'd be top

Saturdays game will be two of the most exciting teams in the land going head to head and will be an amazing game which halpilynfor me we are underdogs because pundits and most fans don't seem to understand the value of defensive energy and complete counter attacking play....

It's really very sad that a few people on here just don't seem to appreciate what Fsbregas brings to this team.
All they care about is defending, defending and more defending.
Aren't there players who already have this responsibility?
Must the whole team turn to defenders?
This was how we lost Mata, and De Brunye, all because they don't track back enough.
