The luck is the fact that Matip kicked it on to him and it's deflected in

Luck has nothing to do with it. There are sponges with less holes than our defence.

Blatant shirt pull on lovren

You can't call them beating the offside trap terrible defending, it's great attacking, and 9/10 if the defender gets back and makes that tackle its not a goal.

Unfortunate, and I know many here hate to admit it, but that was some great play from Newcastle, exactly how we played under Benny with torres

You can if the defender facing the opponent doesn't even notice that he is standing between him and his CAB partner. Lovren was hardly aware

The defenders never played an offside trap. They didn't move up to catch him offside, they just let him run into 50 yards of open space.

Poor

Lads we can argue all we like about our defence but the raw fact is Matip and Lovren simply aren't a reliable pair. The style in which we play doesn't help either. A better 6 in Keita and a more dominant centre half to partner Matip will go a long way in solving the conondrum.

They were holding a line a perfectly straight one too, usually when that sort of goal happens one is stood 5 yards further back not paying attention.

If we had scored that, coutinho through to mane we would all have hard ons about our attacking prowess, not lamenting the oppositions poor defence

Typical of our never ending problems.

Dominated the half, well on top after we scored and out
of absolutely nothing we concede.

Happening so often recently, how do we keep conceding when we are on top. Ridiculous.

Love the way Klopp turns to his bench to lament yet another defensive catastrophe, when he should be having a word with himself.
