The defence needs more protection from the midfield, Shelvey should never have had the time to get that pass off that led to their goal.

You want an other manager. The other manager in comes and he will face the same problems. I am behind his philosophy if the first option is not available wait until there is quality on the market. I personaly would go for Tah of Leverkusen.

Moreno of all players is the only player worth his salt in the back four, I can't see how Gomez is going to progress being played out of position. Lovren and Matip just don't seem to anticipate any danger we either need to change them or find a player who will screen the back four.....

Both carra and Gerrard started at RB for us

Can't watch the game but I think the more our defence comes under the spotlight the more we feck up.

Look, the defence is crap, but not as crap as we are seeing now, have to weather this moment and maintain a decent position in the league until something can be done because one or two tweaks will see us improve IMO.

I agree with the bloke who said we need to find another partner for Matip. The club tried to do so but it was a royal feck up as usual as far as transfers go.

What I don't get is people who go on about Klopp saying he's happy with the defence. I mean, he'd still say that if he wasn't happy and I'd be disappointed if he said anything else.

Everyone knows the defence is crap. I don't see how the manager discussing their frailties with the media is going to help. It can only do more damage on top of more damage when we failed to sign a CB.
