Just to clarify. The UK shouldn't get involved in foreign countries politics but should let anyone in from any country that has nut jobs running the show.
😂😂
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Its the other way around. Are you ready for more refugees after what happened in Afghanistan? Have a look at the countries producing nearly all asylum seekers. What do they have in common?
This should and will be a lesson that facking up other countries won't leave you unscathed. The actions of some countries are directly to blame for the migrant crisis, the same countries that make the most noise when a couple of people manage to cross the border.
Stop the strife and the immigrant crisis will disappear in a few decades. You think people from Syria want to freeze their arris off in England? They'd prefer they didn't have to.
Time for electorates to start electing proper leaders and putting pressure on them to act in the actual interest of mankind instead of oil or minerals or money. People too concerned about the cost of their next obesity inducing double burger leaving the corrupt to run wars and create market for their bombs and tanks.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Refugees as of end 2020
Syrian Arab Republic 6.7 million
Venezuela 4.0 million
Afghanistan 2.6 million
South Sudan 2.2 million
Myanmar 1.1 million
I don't think it's all the UKs fault.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't think he said it was, That's a straw-man
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Mamba was obviously referring to asylum seekers entering this country when saying this “ Have a look at the countries producing nearly all asylum seekers. What do they have in common?”
I suspect JS knew that already
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Where do asylum-seekers in the UK come from?
Amongst adults, Iran was the top nationality claiming asylum in the UK in the year ending March 2021.
The top five countries of nationality for asylum applications (from main applicants) were: Iran (3,523), Albania (2,840), and Eritrea (2,373), Iraq (2,125) and Sudan (1913).
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How many of those countries have the U.K. been involved with?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
10,000 people wanting security and opportunity, those cants!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I imagine those figures would be massively inflated if allowed.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They should definitely go back to the persecution/war/unsanitary conditions tbh.
We have nice things, and we worked hard at being born here to have them! They should pull themselves up by their bootstraps instead of coming here and taking one of the thousands of unfillable jobs.

It would be interesting to see which of those list of countries have had war in the last 10 years, and with whom, then look at the military industrial complex to see who supplied weapons to either side, the. Address Thorgs *ACTUAL* point about wars being manufactured to sell arms.
Perhaps if we banned the international sale of arms, to anyone but NATO countries, and NATO grew a pair, and intervened in places where atrocities are happening , this need for migration would end.
As an example, NATO / UN should have taken over in Afghanistan decades ago to allow most UK/US troops to withdraw, to provide free and fair elections, and to aid in combatting the corruption that lead to the fall of the state.
If these places are habitable, you will get less migrants.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sooooo, we will ignore the elephant?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Which elephant?
You listed which countries produced the most refugees GLOBALLY, so my response was with regards to global organisations.
If you have pivoted to UK only asylum, that's just a different conversation
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Kind of covering both. I don't see the correlation of Britain being involved in some way, to that countries inhabitants wanting to come to the UK.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You can't see the correlation between the actions of countries like the UK and USA and the migrant crisis? I honestly don't know how you can be helped in that case.

The site you got them stats from also says this;
“ Does the UK have more asylum-seekers than most countries?
No, it does not. In the year ending March 2021, the UK received 26,903 asylum applications from main applicants only.
Over the same period, asylum applications to other EU countries have also seen a decrease. In 2020, the highest number of asylum applicants received in the EU+ were received by Germany (122,015 applicants) and France (93,475 applicants). In the same period, the UK received the 5th largest number of applicants (36,041) when compared with the EU+ member states, around 7% of the total asylum applicants in the EU+ and UK. This would represent only the 17th largest intake when measured per head of population.”
Yeah but ‘let anyone in from any country’ or something
I know. The response is still apt.

As the conspiracy theory goes education isn't designed to create critical thinkers who are hard to dupe, just shallow robots clever enough to work necessary jobs but dumb enough to be easily influenced and told what to think and how to act.
At thus time it seems to be working quite well.
Research and polls also suggest that only a minority of global asylum seekers want or intend to come to the UK.
They make it sound like asylum seekers are falling over each other to come to the UK. They're really not.
Easily led people unable to think critically.

Yeah but ‘let anyone in from any country’ or something
----------------------------------------------------------------------
People seeking asylum make up a tiny proportion of new arrivals in Britain but they make it sound like we're letting in torrents of people.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Easily led people are going to be easily led. Whatcha gonna do?
Blame the education efforts for not teaching critical thinking.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As the conspiracy theory goes education isn't designed to create critical thinkers who are hard to dupe, just shallow robots clever enough to work necessary jobs but dumb enough to be easily influenced and told what to think and how to act.
At thus time it seems to be working quite well.

Research and polls also suggest that only a minority of global asylum seekers want or intend to come to the UK.
They make it sound like asylum seekers are falling over each other to come to the UK. They're really not.

Easily led people unable to think critically.

“ Kind of covering both. I don't see the correlation of Britain being involved in some way, to that countries inhabitants wanting to come to the UK.”
You haven’t seen an increase in people from Afghanistan and Iraq since we got involved?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I haven't seen no. I just gave the stats. 🤷♂️
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Going back to your original comment;
“ Just to clarify. The UK shouldn't get involved in foreign countries politics but should let anyone in from any country that has nut jobs running the show.”
The site you got them stats from also says this;
“ Does the UK have more asylum-seekers than most countries?
No, it does not. In the year ending March 2021, the UK received 26,903 asylum applications from main applicants only.
Over the same period, asylum applications to other EU countries have also seen a decrease. In 2020, the highest number of asylum applicants received in the EU+ were received by Germany (122,015 applicants) and France (93,475 applicants). In the same period, the UK received the 5th largest number of applicants (36,041) when compared with the EU+ member states, around 7% of the total asylum applicants in the EU+ and UK. This would represent only the 17th largest intake when measured per head of population.”

But the greatest achievement was to dupe those that believe they critical thinkers into being followers.😉

“ Probably the same place that Thorgen found the stat that people thought torrents of people were coming in.”
You’re confusing stats with the front pages of the Mail and Express pretty much every day.
