Only if the plaque states what a roaring success it was supposed to be and to look up why it wasn’t.
Principally, that by putting up barriers to trade with our closest neighbours, of 450m people with whom we had free trade for 25 years was seen as a patriotic kickstart to the economy.
Just with that small paragraph, people would wonder “how the fack did that ever come to pass”
Britain and its people will be used as a case study in where mass media manipulation, misinformation and jingoism can lead a nation.

In the wider population, wages are set to fall next year after inflation.
It means the last decade has been the weakest decade for pay growth since the 1930s.
By May 2024, real wages will have grown by just 2.4% since 2008 - compared with a 38% real wage increase between 1992 and 2008.

Middle-income families are set to be worse off next year amid rising costs and tax rises, says an independent economic think tank.
Paul Johnson, director of the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS), said that inflation and higher taxes on incomes would negate small wage increases.
The government's forecaster warned on Wednesday that the cost of living could rise at its fastest rate for 30 years.

The guy is a moronn. That people consider him some kind of valid sociopolitical commentator is laughable.
Just spouts self-contradictory, pseudointellectual nonsense day-in, day-out, flip-flopping and apologising his way through his plain lazy cerebral meanderings.
If I was feeling generous, I’d suggest that this is yet another ploy to capture headlines and drive engagement.
Either way, he continues to represent manna for the ‘sick and tired of experts’, anti-intellectual, anti-science brigade.

I recall reading the operation Cygnus findings stating that if the Government gave a threat (pandemic) status "high infectious disease" status, they would be required to roll out PPE at a national level.
However as PPE stockpiles had not been addressed, and were woefully under stocked, the Government downgraded/declassified the CV19 status in March 2020. And as such weren't obliged to roll out PPE to a national level.
We also thought we could make a quick buck by selling off our stockpile to China in February
