Just ignoring govt failures is not enough to stay at the Beeb anymore

You have to actively lie for them like Kuenssberg and now Chris Mason do

Criminal barristers vote overwhelmingly to strike from next Monday - shutting down courts - in their dispute with Govt over legal aid funding (the cash that pays for defence, allowing many trials to get on). Decision comes after @TheCriminalBar ballot

Oscar never makes sense, but always somehow thinks he's won the argument. Same with Peks. Its quite sad to watch to be honest.

Had to tell him 3 times it wasn’t train drivers striking but maintenance and support staff after the repetitive cries of ‘train drivers are on how much’

He either really believes the lies he keeps spouting or is just after the attention.

Breaking:

Boris Johnson had a minor operation for a sinus issue at 6am this morning

Sinus issue 😏
It was in an NHS hospital under general anaesthetic. It was a success.

He’s back in No 10 but major decisions will be taken by Dominic Raab over next 24 hours

I was 3 when I got a stone stuck up there a few hours before we were supposed to fly to Kos on holiday.

Wouldn't have been a problem these days as the flight would have been delayed.

Summer of discontent sounds much nicer though.

Y do u continually poset twitter etc “headline” that u like with no context?

posted on 20/6/22

Brexit is the context, if we were part of the EU still these migrants would've been sent back to France and other neighbouring states under the Dublin Regulation.

Instead we get to house them, which I'm happy about too.

More migrants want to come to Brexit Britain from France. That's good, who can blame them?

Better food, better healthcare, friendlier people, I could go on but don't feel I need to

Is it more migrants in total wanting to come over or more migrants attempting to cross via that route though?

It's obviously the latter, this country has made it virtually impossible to claim asylum here unless you're Ukrainian and even that's a challenge itself seeing as we've barely housed many compared to other countries.

Mick Lynch of the RMT says funding cuts made by a "government of billionaires" are to blame for rail strikes - accusing ministers of 'telling everyone else they've got to tighten their belts while they're raking it in'.

He's not wrong is he? Look at the money they spaffed during the pandemic.
