----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah.
“Leaning towards” ethno-statehood, antiziganist, clear fan of the use of misinformation as propaganda, looks for excuses to justify the expansion of the motherland through the annexation of neighbouring states’ territories.
Reminds me of someone from history, but I kann nicht put meinen finger on it.

honestly Rosso, you can do better than this
"looks for excuses to justify the expansion of the motherland through the annexation of neighbouring states’ territories."
I've never said that or implied it

Insert - do you have any thoughts in green and blue hydrogen? Been covering it a fair bit recently and was wondering which wing if progressivism you fall under on this energy source?
I see Boris has jetted off to Kyiv because the three major EU leaders were there and he’s trying to seek a bit of the attention too. Wonder what he feels about them having their status of being EU members accelerating? The fat nonce.
NEW: I've done an analysis of every time No10 announced a phone call between Boris Johnson and President Zelensky and it's amazing how many have coincided with his worst crises (full disclosure, No10 have told me this thesis is "ludicrous" https://t.co/VPMFrv65ER

Generally I try to stay away from making decisions on anything, the science in renewables is so changeable, actually been thinking of doing an OU degree on the subject recently, now I have a lot more free time.
That said, there are huge questionmarks over the sustainability and scalability of either!! Generally I think the transport industry is a good barometer of the likely success of any "Carbon fuel" replacement and the funding for development of hydrogen based trucks is drying up, and the market for selling them is shrinking all the time.. so in terms of transport I think it's probably a bust, electric with poweroll is the future there in my opinion
Also specifically with regards to blue hydrogen, I think that in the last year we have figured out it's about 1/3rd more expensive than they thought it would be to produce (small pilot schemes) and that it's more energy efficient to just use natural gas to heat a home, than to use the natural gas to create hydrogen, so I think in the home energy market it doesn't make a huge amount of sense either
Afterall if you are going to add anything to the gas supply, it would make more sense to go for methane from a network of bio digesters, taking waste and creating fuel, instead of taking fuel to create fuel.
Although i do hold out a lot of hope for green Hydrogen as a battery system for renewables (80% efficient if I remember correctly) I think Blue is going to be a bit of a bust, and is just a desperate last throw of the dice from the carbon industry.
The last hope for it is probably "Hydrogen slime" cars, but again, as I said, the haulage industry is already moving past it.
As an aside the haulage industry is really interesting as a sign of where the wind is blowing, and from an innovation point of view, they asked recently to be allowed to increase the length of trucks purely for increasing aerodynamics (copying EU legislation) it adds around 1 foot to their permitted length, but can increase the efficiency of the vehicles up to 15% without compromising on current permissable loads.
Yeah I'm facking boring

One Tory MP at the Northern Research Group conference - where Boris Johnson failed to turn up - utterly furious
Says they were being told Johnson “was on the train to Doncaster” this morning
“This is the first test of outreach to his colleagues and he’s failed it”, they said
lol
A national network of Bio digesters would also create a lot of very fertile slurry, there's been small scale tests using it to create Biofuel by growing Algae in it, can be used to create both ethanol or diesel depending on how you deal with the resulting Algae.
Or you use it to offset fuel hungry chemical fertilisers on fields, Although it's not been without its drawbacks in Germany..

Was in Sevilha to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers a fortnight ago. Had to leave in a hurry on Sunday after the Sat night gig because the temp was already well into the 30s by midday.
Glad it wasn’t last weekend though… they’ve had 42 degrees there already
According to the papers today, it looks like government ministers have been saying that people shouldn't get pay rises and everyone should just work harder.
