The sense I get from Laura kunessberg is that she’s not really that bright, and so for example this week she hasn’t tried to get her head around any of the LDI & gilt stuff. That is what would’ve given you more of the long silences, as I’ve no doubt truss doesn’t understand that either. Instead she went with “simple” questions that one can anticipate and plan for accordingly.

tbf I have a MBA and I find all that stuff hard. The problem is not understanding the basics. Its not difficult to acknowledge that cutting tax will increase inflation. And inflation will negate any value of the tax cut.

That really is not a very difficult concept to get your head around.
