The key question is though Satters, who goes first, ETH or the PM 😜
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ihahaha
I’m relatively indifferent about the two tbh. The problem with either leaving is who comes in??
As to who goes first, hmmm can ETH make it until the start of next season?
I’d probably say that ETH goes first
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Indifferent? Interesting, do you think either are doing a good job? It goes without saying I presume that you still support the club despite the person leading it, is that the same for the political party?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think they've both done OK. Sunak has been extremely forgettable with occasional moments of stupidity, occasional moments of appealing to certain sections of voters. He's very bland and won't be remembered in any way.
Yes I would continue to support United regardless of the manager at the helm.
As to the Conservative Party - I don't really support it like I used to as it's not what it used to be. I'm the blue version of Labour Voters on here who look at Blair's Labour and Starmer's Labour and find that it doesn't represent them nor bears any similarity to traditional labour governments.
Both of these parties are long dead. I will probably not vote again in the next GE which I don't like to do but it's just a complete mess right now.
It has been quite rightly (although with the intention of mocking Tories) pointed out that consecutive conservative governments have spent spent spent and increased taxes, immigration numbers are still far too high for the country to handle:
https://www.statista.com/statistics/283287/net-migration-figures-of-the-united-kingdom-y-on-y/#:~:text=For%20the%20year%20ending%20December,net%20migration%20figure%20of%20606%2C000.
Much like Labour voters in the late 90s and early 2000s, I do not recognise this party that calls itself Conservative.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Apologies for the delay in response, we’re going through a tough time atm. I’m sympathetic to not feeling you have a political home, I really don’t know which party I will vote for at the next UK GE. I’ll likely pivot towards individual candidates and what they are like; would you consider the same? I do it for local council elections where I vote for a real mix depending on what their work in the local community has been.
You’ll appreciate that I don’t share your views on immigration, but I intrigued by your belief that the Conservative Party, if I understand your perceptions correctly, are a party that have low migration as a core belief? Is that right?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry to hear bro, hopefully it passes quickly & successfully.
Yes that’s right, as conservatives they should typically look to keep things as they are, maintain the status quo etc and they also talk talk talk about the numbers of immigration but they’ve done nothing to decrease them.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has pledged to "examine" whether asylum applications could be processed abroad.
It marks a further hardening of the government's position on illegal migration, as parties seek to counter electoral gains by the far right.
The idea sounds reminiscent of the UK's deal with Rwanda, where migrants in Britain may be sent to claim asylum.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Its just pandering to the right wing voters who hate immigrants especially if they're not white.
Immigrants seeking asylum legally aren't the problem, it's illegal immigrants that are the problem. Go look at the numbers. This processing abroad malarkey will do nothing to stop the boats across the Mediterranean and the channel. It's just politicians keeping their voting sheep motivated by saying things the politicians know the sheep like to hear.
Nick Griffin has been yapping like a dog too much today man, just shut up lad.

Depressing but true.
It’s been pretty horrendous. She was in hospital the full time, multiple operations etc but just was too much of an uphill struggle. My cousin also gave birth to a baby around the same time, who also went to NICU and then SCBU. She brought her wee one home this weekend. Head is a complete mess and the tough bit is that given my wife is pregnant too, I’m not wanting to load any of it on her which can make it tough to keep it all together.

She’s lucky that she’s alright, physically I mean.
It’s a complete mess when others around are also pregnant or recently given birth.
There’s no right or wrong with these situations, just spend as much time with her as she wants and try to be helpful.
Give her brother hugs and try to make her laugh like when you were kids etc. I’d be ruined if this happened to one of my sisters.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

I’m relatively indifferent about the two tbh. The problem with either leaving is who comes in??
As to who goes first, hmmm can ETH make it until the start of next season?
I’d probably say that ETH goes first

Indifferent? Interesting, do you think either are doing a good job? It goes without saying I presume that you still support the club despite the person leading it, is that the same for the political party?

Both of these parties are long dead. I will probably not vote again in the next GE which I don't like to do but it's just a complete mess right now.
It has been quite rightly (although with the intention of mocking Tories) pointed out that consecutive conservative governments have spent spent spent and increased taxes, immigration numbers are still far too high for the country to handle:

Much like Labour voters in the late 90s and early 2000s, I do not recognise this party that calls itself Conservative.

Yes that’s right, as conservatives they should typically look to keep things as they are, maintain the status quo etc and they also talk talk talk about the numbers of immigration but they’ve done nothing to decrease them.

Why do you think it’s acceptable to call someone an aids ridden piece of shiiit? If I called you a cancer ridden piece of shiiit? Do you think that’s acceptable language to use on a forum? You put yourself forward as a paragon of virtue but you’re a vile mouthed nasty piece of crap.
