It could cost an estimated £63,000 more to send a migrant to a "safe country" such as Rwanda than to keep them in the UK, the government has said.

The Spirit of Liz Truss is omipresent.

REASONS GADDAFI WAS KILLED:
1. Libya has no electricity bill, electricity came free of charge to all citizens.
2. There were no interest rates on loans, the banks were state-owned, the loan of citizens by law 0%.
3. Kadafi promised not to buy a house for his parents until everyone in Libya owns a home. Gadafi's father died in a tent during his reign.
4. All newlywed couples in Libya received 60,000 dinars from the government and because of that they bought their own apartments and started their families.
5. Education and medical treatment in Libya are free. Before Gaddafi there were only 25% readers, 83% during his reign
6. If Libyans wanted to live on a farm, they received free household appliances, seeds and livestock.
7. If they cannot receive treatment in Libya, the state would fund them +2300$ accommodation and travel for treatment abroad.
8. If you buy a car, the government finances 50% of the price.
9. The price of gasoline became $ 0.14 per liter.
10. Libya had no external debt, and reserves were $ 150 billion (now frozen worldwide)
11. Since some Libyans can't find jobs after school, the government will pay the average salary when they can't find a job.
12. Part of oil sales in Libya are directly linked to the bank accounts of all citizens.
13. The mother who gave birth to the child will receive $5 000
14. 40 loaves of bread cost $0.15.
15. 25% of Libyans had all Ilisna diplomas.
16. Kadafi has implemented the world's biggest irrigation project known as the "BIG MAN PROJECT" to ensure water availability in the desert.
If this is called "DICTATORSHIP", I wonder what democracy is?

US imperialism seeks domination, not democracy.

An elderly couple in a car by Trafalgar Square in London is surrounded by pro-Palestine protesters who have shut down the streets. One of the protesters uses a stick to hit the vehicle.

Huge error by Starmer not to give a free vote to Labour mp's tonight.

His arrogance and "they wouldn't dare defy me" attitude is hilarious. The only reason that the majority of his party tolerate him is because he's likely to win the next GE (by default) and once that's happened he'll be lucky to last a year.

Right now he'll be lying in a darkened room in a cold sweat with Jenny Chapman mopping his brow wondering why not all Labour mp's realise how great he is?

I don’t think it’s stupid at all. I think the benefits are outweighed by the costs. I know you don’t like him to say the least and whilst I think he’ll say and do what’s best for him to an extent, I rate him as an individual above anyone else that I can think of currently. Only change to that would be DaveJaVu but mostly because they’d essentially be the same and do the same, possibly less ‘risk’ from my perspective as a more conservative person with Dave but not much difference at all.

Obviously whomever is in charge of Labour would win the next GE, that’s not particularly down to him.

My only hypothetical query is would Jeremy Corbyn win? I’d still imagine that he would but I wouldn’t bet my house on it.

What do you all think? Is the conservative position bad enough to guarantee a hypothetical Corbyn win (taking into account the entire electorate not just yourselves I mean)?

What happened to all Gaddafi's gold and national treasure? And what about Iraq's gold too? Gaddafi was a caaant, like all the other world leaders, but he wasn't taken out for being any caaant. It is well known in Africa why they had to take Gaddafi out.

When he went to the African Union and individually from country to country, president to president to unite and form a resolution to leave the dollar economy and establish a Pan-African currency, among a raft of other moves that would have seen Africa try to claim it's place in the world, and the Africans were listening to him as he even offered to fund a lot of it, that was the last straw. He had to go. We cannot allow these guys to wean themselves off our IMFs and World Banks and start controlling international prices and sheet.
