Sir Keir Starmer is preparing to sack Labour shadow ministers who vote in favour of backing a ceasefire in the Israel-Gaza conflict, The Telegraph understands.
Figures close to the Labour leader believe more than 10 of his own frontbenchers could end up supporting the amendment if it is selected for a vote on Wednesday.

I don't support what Israel are doing, it's disgraceful, but Hamas have repeatedly said they're going to keep carrying out attacks so what's the point of a ceasefire?

We get bogged down in this whole humanitarian pause Vs ceasefire BS when "stop killing civilians you psychopaths" is what we we really mean
An unlawful Israeli strike on a family in a car on November 5, 2023, should be investigated as an apparent war crime, Human Rights Watch said today. The attack killed three girls and their grandmother and wounded their mother.

This is absolutely horrific!
So apparently Hamas have offered to release 70 hostages in exchange for a 5 day truce.
If you were Israel would you agree to this?
The family of these hostages are demonstrating in Tel Aviv because the hostages done seem to be a priority for the Israel government.
An Israeli minister was angrily questioned by one guy for using terms like "annihilate Gaza or flatten Gaza". He was told there are children in Gaza, Jewish, Palestinian and others so "who are you annihilating? Who are you flattening."
Good to see them facing opposition from within Israel itself.

The people who think Hamas will oblige a ceasefire
Corbyn was right not to answer Morgan’s questions about Hamas. It’s a stupid media trick to just grab a one word answer to use against the narrative.
In doing so it legitimises the false claim that this whole thing started on Oct 7th.
The whole narrative/definition about what is a ‘terrorist group’ needs to be spoken about in a way that includes Israel and only then used in its correct context. Until then no one in these interviews should ever make it so easy for Morgan and the rest of the one dimensional thinkers to get what they want.
No he could have just said "yes they are" and then said everything you said
