James Timpson has been appointed as a minister for prisons.
Excellent move given how much work he's done to help rehabilitate prisoners. Really good to see they're willing to go outside the party for these kind of appointments.

Thornberry has been dropped from the front bench, Keith has appointed a KC for the Attorney General position
Genius appointment / thinking by Keir
Vallance one is also another genius one
Patrick Vallance, former chief scientific adviser during campaign, appointed as science minister
Good appointment
Sounds like they’re looking to appoint some people that are qualified for the role. I’d forgotten that was possible our government.

I have spoken to the BMA junior doctors committee, and can announce that talks to end their industrial action will begin next week.
We promised to get negotiations up and running and that is what we are doing.
