I bet the people advocating this were happy for George Floyd to die whilst being disarmed as well
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yet you’d be happy for an Israeli to die in the same situation you just admitted so why the fack is a runt like you trying to take the moral high ground

This Manchester Airport incident is just what the woke left crave.

In reality one of the 4 men hit a woman copper and broke her nose.

The officers are justified and no doubt thought these were all potential terrorists too. Excessive force justified

Donet think anybody is deefendin the cop, jussed that is understandabubble how he react
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No, it isn't. A cop is the last person that should react like that. That's why they undergo training, to handle situations normal people would not be able to.

I am surprised people holding cops to the same standard as regular people. Cops have a lot of power and some of them misuse it sometimes. To whom much is given much is expected.

If you have that much power, over and above that if a regular person, you cannot hem be held to the same standard as a regular person. A police officer must be able to control their emotions, even in this situation. If you start making excuses then you are on a slippery slope.

I wonder what your reaction would be if that was your son who’s head was getting stamped on Boris, regardless of what happened.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If he'd just headbutted a woman then he'd get little sympathy from me.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
IF the reports are true that my son attacked armed
police, anti terror police most likely, in an airport, then i would thank whatever God may exist that he wast shot and killed. And that view is irrespective of context.

Agree here. Too much is being made of this and the officer is justified. He probably thought it was a terror attack.

They obviously didn't think that or they would haveqshot him, but if the lax in capacity armed female officer, it's not an imossible scenario that her gun could be taken.

The female shouldn’t have been armed as too easy for potential terrorists to disarm her and use the weapon.

Put yourself in the officer’s shoes. Woman officer attacked, nose broken, potential terrorists storming the airport and public at risk.

You’d do the same.

It's a pressurised job and he reacted in the moment. Doesn't make him a bad person

Quite a few emotional responses to this which is kinda interesting considering the cop may have also responded emotionally but we are typing on a phone rather that being armed to the ti tttts dealing with a live airport attack.

It’s not about his character but his conduct. He acted an emotionally and unprofessionally, and there should be consequences for that.

This is meant to be a highly trained, armed police officer. They should be held to the highest standards of conduct in their position. Not excused for kicking someone in the face and stamping on their head after they’ve already incapacitated them.

The force's statement in full read: “Officers were called to reports of an altercation between members of the public in Terminal 2 at Manchester Airport.

“Whilst attempting to arrest one of the suspects of the earlier altercation, three officers were subject to a violent assault, where they were punched to the ground. A female officer suffered a broken nose and all three were taken to hospital for treatment.

“As the attending officers were firearms officers, there was a clear risk during this assault of their firearms being taken from them.

“Four men were arrested at the scene for affray and assault on emergency service workers. We acknowledge the concerns of the conduct within the video, and our Professional Standards Directorate are assessing this.”

Its very concerning when a clip like that comes out and a percentage of the population are seeing it as a justified action by a police officer. We are in deep trouble.

posted on 24/7/24

The police might have foiled a potential terrorist attack for all we know at this point.

Let the full facts come to light before demanding a police officer loses his job ffs.

It's more concerning to me that people on social media continue to judge without fact or context.
