The conservatives over there are too busy being triggered by being called weird by the Harris campaign to worry about that.

It's probably the most effective thing they have done. Calling them racist, Naz is etc didn't impact them. Calling them weird disempowers them.

The court heard on Wednesday that Edwards had been involved in online chat on WhatsApp from December 2020 with an adult man, who sent him 377 sexual images, of which 41 were indecent images of children.

As well as the category A images, he also had 12 category B pictures and 22 category C photographs.

The final indecent image was sent in August 2021 - a category A film featuring a young boy.

The man told Edwards the boy was quite young looking, and that he had more images which were illegal, the court was told.

Mr Edwards told him not to send any illegal images.

No more were sent, and the pair continued to exchange legal p0rnographic images until April 2022.

Downloading or sharing counts as creating

It's one of those laws that could be updated to avoid confusion in the digital but doesn't need to be for any reason other than semantics

I watched part of the video that's from and he's actually pretty good at golf, especially considering his age.

In true Trump style though he claimed recently he's a 2.5 handicap and a club champion when he most certainly is not.

Simply being good is never good enough for him so he has to constantly lie

He has to have immediate deleted the offensive material, otherwise he's facked if it was still on his phone.

I don't think you get to say what your intentions were, you either had illegal images or you didn't

It's like that guy who went home with a girl from a club who turned out to be 15, just because the club was 21+ only and he assumed she must be 15 doesn't mean he didn't break the law

That happened to someone I knew years ago.

He was the DJ and was found not guilty

For context he was about 21/22 at the time

It's more because I know Whatsapp stores images in a folder in your phone files even if you don't choose to have them automatically download to your gallery.

I'm guessing that's not actually the case here but would be interested in the legality if you genuinely didn't know Whatsapp does that, and had those images in your phone files solely because someone sent them to you without your consent.
